Functions are maintained according to policy and IFRS.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that monthly general ledger reconciliations are completed and reconciling items resolved.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that the monthly close-off of accounts fairly reflects the monthly results of the organization.<br \/>\n\tPerform the functions associated with being a bank signatory.<\/p>\n<p>Creditor Management<\/p>\n<p>\tOversee the management of all creditors including stock and nonstock.<br \/>\n\tEnsure all supplier accounts are reconciled and paid according to terms and agreed pricing conditions.<br \/>\n\tDrive analytics to improve efficiency, insight, and performance.<\/p>\n<p>Accounts Receivable<\/p>\n<p>\tOversee the credit control process, including setting credit limits and payment terms and management of all claims.<br \/>\n\tConduct risk assessments and evaluate customer credit profiles.<br \/>\n\tManage collections and resolve payment issues efficiently.<br \/>\n\tDevelop and enforce credit policies and procedures.<br \/>\n\tCollaborate with other functional areas \/ teams to support business objectives.<br \/>\n\tEnsure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.<br \/>\n\tPrepare regular reports on credit performance and risk exposure.<\/p>\n<p>Asset Management<\/p>\n<p>\tOversee the management of the fixed assets across all sites.<br \/>\n\tEnsure the assets are fairly reported in SAP through periodic asset verifications and compliance with IFRS principles.<br \/>\n\tEnsure appropriate wear and tear and depreciation rates are applied consistently and in line with IFRS principals and current tax legislation.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that Fixed asset movements are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that the WIP accounts are reviewed and actioned on a monthly basis.<br \/>\n\tReview fixed asset reconciliations.<\/p>\n<p>Statutory Compliance<\/p>\n<p>\tParticipate in the statutory financial close-off.<br \/>\n\tManage and oversee that the required interim and year-end reporting schedules are completed.<br \/>\n\tLiaise with internal and external auditors.<br \/>\n\tProvide input regarding compliance with company law in conjunction with the legal department thereby ensuring compliance with commercial law and legislation generally.<\/p>\n<p>Internal Control<\/p>\n<p>\tContinuously identify and pursue opportunities to improve control procedures throughout the business.<br \/>\n\tFollow up on audit queries and ensure that corrective action is taken by the responsible teams.<br \/>\n\tEnsure compliance with approved procedures by means of control checks performed by the finance team.<\/p>\n<p>Staff Management<\/p>\n<p>\tManage all teams and collaborate effectively.<br \/>\n\tLead and develop staff within the context of the Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act and the Skills Development Act.<br \/>\n\tMonitor staff performance and provide regular feedback.<br \/>\n\tManage staff activities, ensuring service levels are met and protocols are adhered to.<br \/>\n\tCoach and support staff, where necessary, to achieve objectives.<br \/>\n\tManage staff leave and general time management issues in line with organizational deliverables and standards.<br \/>\n\tManage and deliver on succession plans to enable the development of a future generation of leaders and specialists and ensure optimal turnover and retention levels are maintained.<br \/>\n\tConduct regular performance appraisals with subordinates.<br \/>\n\tEstablish sound staff and labor organizing and communication structures and systems.<br \/>\n\tDevelop and manage high performance multidisciplinary teams in order to solve problems within the commercial arena.<br \/>\n\tConduct regular meetings and ensure that records are kept and shared across the team and that action plans agreed to within team meetings are delivered upon.<\/p>\n<p>Key representatives.<br \/>\n\tAuditors.<br \/>\n\tSuppliers.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required for the Job<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n<p>\tMatric (Grade 12).<br \/>\n\tMust be a registered CA(SA).<br \/>\n\t10 years\u2019 experience, 5 of which a senior level, managing large teams.<br \/>\n\tSAP experience would be advantageous.<br \/>\n\tExperience in
