Job Purpose<\/p>\n
\tThe Technical Production Manager will play a critical role in driving operational excellence across production and logistics. The position focuses on measuring and improving productivity, embedding continuous improvement practices, applying Lean principles, and managing key projects that enhance efficiency and performance.
\n\tThe role requires strong analytical capability, practical problem-solving skills, and the ability to work across multiple functions to deliver business results.<\/p>\n
Job Objectives & Functions<\/p>\n
Productivity Measurement & Analysis<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and maintain production and logistics productivity metrics, dashboards, and reports.
\n\tIdentify performance gaps and propose actionable improvement initiatives.<\/p>\n
Continuous Improvement & Lean Implementation<\/p>\n
\tLead initiatives to embed Lean principles and best practices across production and logistics operations.
\n\tFacilitate Kaizen events, root cause analysis, and process standardization.
\n\tBuild a culture of continuous improvement through training and coaching of operational teams.<\/p>\n
Production Planning<\/p>\n
\tReview effectiveness of production planning to optimise efficiencies, throughput, lead time and cost of production.
\n\tLead initiatives to implement automated planning processes, including digitised inputs from the shopfloor.<\/p>\n
Business Intelligence & Insights<\/p>\n
\tDesign and implement reporting tools to provide insights into operational performance.
\n\tSupport data-driven decision-making through analysis and scenario modelling.<\/p>\n
Project Management<\/p>\n
\tManage and deliver key cross-functional projects in production and logistics from initiation to completion.
\n\tEnsure projects are executed on time, within budget, and deliver expected outcomes.
\n\tPrepare project reports and communicate progress to senior management.<\/p>\n
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement<\/p>\n
\tWork closely with Production, Logistics, IT, Finance, and other departments to align improvement initiatives with business goals.
\n\tProvide clear communication of improvement initiatives and project outcomes to stakeholders at all levels.<\/p>\n

\n\t3\u20135 years\u2019 experience in a production or logistics environment\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Desirable
