Description<\/p>\n
\tAssist with curation of the National Collection of Mycology with activities to include, but not limited to, sorting, labelling, slide preparation and preparing loans of specimens.
\n\tProvide support with preparation and processing of material in the molecular analytical laboratory
\n\tProvide basic administrative support to staff in the National Collection of Fungi
\n\tAssist with procurement of research materials and project related items
\n\tAd hoc tasks such as of setting up equipment and preparing materials for courses, exhibitions etc.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 (or equivalent \/ RPL)
\n\tFive years relevant experience in the field of Natural History Collections and laboratory work
\n\tAbility to work independently and in a team
\n\tAttention to detail is essential
\n\tValid code B & EB driver\u2019s license<\/p>\n
