Job Purpose<\/p>\n
\tThe programme offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable skills in the transport rail manufacturing industry. Participants will experience a dynamic and challenging work environment, collaborating with various teams across the organization. The role includes servicing and maintaining high\u2011quality products, as well as supporting the monitoring of compliance with Gibela\u2019s requirements and standards.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tExpediting the delivery of repairs from external suppliers ensuring supplier and customer OTIF is achieved.
\n\tMonitoring and updating SAP records.
\n\tMaintaining order book accuracy and fulfilment.
\n\tCoordinate all internal and external logistics activities associated with all overhaul contracts to ensure that customer milestone dates are met.
\n\tTo comply with Alstom Procedures and Code of Ethics
\n\tManage the workload of the service, the \u201cMake or Buy\u201d of validation work packages and validation means
\n\tTo ensure materials\/services are delivered in-line with business requirements through expediting orders and updating the business system, communicating, and escalating issues
\n\tTo manage the stock levels of repairable materials ensuring they are kept at an optimum level through monitoring usage, raising orders, expediting and stock controlling
\n\tTo establish the priorities for Internal repairs and communicate them with the Repairs planners to the Workshop
\n\tTo respond to internal customer and internal queries in a timely and effective manner
\n\tTo maintain an accurate \u2018base data\u2019 within the computer-based stock control system
\n\tTo provide full Repair planner support for any identified project activities \/ requirements.
\n\tTo act as a champion for warehouse function both internally and externally
\n\tTo cover other Purchasing Functions (Supply Chain Coordinator, MRP Controller) when required<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tNational Diploma in Electrical
\n\tB-Tech\/Advanced Diploma\/BEngTech: Electrical Eng will be advantageous
\n\tNo previous work experience
\n\tSouth African citizen between 18 and 35 years of age
\n\tExcellent communicate skills in English
\n\tMS Office literate<\/p>\n
