PURPOSE OF THE ROLE<\/p>\n
\tAs a\u00a0Replenishment Buyer, you will be responsible for ordering, planning, and managing stock inventory across assigned products, suppliers, and\/or categories to deliver agreed service levels to both internal and external customers. It is important to be able to manage stock levels to prevent out of stocks or overstocks.\u200b
\n\t\u200bThe role also involves liaising with suppliers on stock-related matters and ensuring the timely introduction and progression of both new and existing products within the business.<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
\tManage stock replenishment and inventory control on an agreed range of company products\u200b
\n\tReview, analyse and forecast stock requirements.\u200b
\n\tControl the movement of stock levels to prevent overstocks and waste whilst improving service levels.\u200b
\n\tWork on inbound order issues, returns, supplier recalls and load prioritisation with DC ops Monitoring performance of new lines and promotions.\u200b
\n\tProactively reviewing sales information to support continuous improvement on stock levels, service and buying opportunities.\u200b
\n\tLearning supply chain systems and processes with a view to supporting and implementation of these systems and processes.\u200b
\n\tProviding support for ordering during seasonal and holiday periods under the guidance of the Merchandise Manager.\u200b
\n\tDeveloping strong working relationships with suppliers, customers and team members.\u200b<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tTertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or related field.
\n\t2\u20135 years in purchasing, inventory planning, or supply chain, preferably within the FMCG or retail sector.
\n\tPrevious experience using a computerised Inventory Management System.
\n\tStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages, particularly Microsoft Excel
\n\tExperience in analysing and interpreting data
\n\tStrong ability to interpret data, forecast trends, and make data-driven decisions.<\/p>\n
