\tIn this role, you\u2019ll be the trusted accounting partner supporting a portfolio of re\/insurance structures, working closely with the Principal to deliver precise, well\u2011presented financial work that meets the highest quality standards. You\u2019ll collaborate daily with senior team members, help drive smooth operational delivery, and contribute to a positive, growth\u2011focused environment\u2014all while gaining hands\u2011on experience across a diverse range of clients and processes.<\/p>\n
What you’ll do<\/p>\n
\tYou\u2019ll maintain accurate accounting records and prepare unaudited financial statements for a portfolio of re\/insurance clients.
\n\tYou\u2019ll assist with payment processes, regulatory filings, and the preparation of materials for board, shareholder, and committee meetings.
\n\tYou\u2019ll support client onboarding through CDD\/KYC reviews, ongoing assessments, and workflow management across multiple re\/insurance structures.
\n\tYou\u2019ll coordinate day\u2011to\u2011day operations with the Principal, including communication with external consultants and service providers.
\n\tYou\u2019ll ensure all work meets quality, compliance, and risk standards while knowing when to escalate issues and using feedback to continuously grow.<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
\tYou have completed your 3-year SAICA article as an Accountant Trainee.
\n\tYou have accounting experience, ideally with exposure to re\/insurance or a similar environment.
\n\tYou understand basic accounting principles and are comfortable working with IFRS and relevant GAAPs.
\n\tYou are confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to work efficiently and accurately.
\n\tYou communicate clearly, collaborate well, and are fluent in English\u2014both written and verbal.<\/p>\n
