\tData collection: recruitment and obtaining informed consent ,conduct interviews and enter it into electronic data systems,\u00a0conduct basic measurement procedures such as assessing blood pressure and anthropometric measurements.
\n\tEnsure adherence to research protocols, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
\n\tQuality control (data collection)
\n\tResearch Administration; report writing.
\n\tTeam leadership and Supervision.
\n\tActive participation in team debriefings and contribution to problem solving.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tMatric
\n\tAt least 2 years of Fieldwork experience
\n\tExperience in conducting fieldwork for other research projects concerned with NCDs or other public health research and relevant experience in working in target communities
\n\tExperience working sensitively with research participants.
\n\tExperience working in a team
\n\t\u00a0Fluency in speaking and writing in English and Afrikaans or Xhosa or Zulu or Sepedi\/Venda
\n\tA code 08 manual South African driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n
Added Advantage:<\/p>\n
\tRelevant training on participant recruitment and research ethics and good clinical practice
\n\t5 \u2013 10 years\u2019 experience in non-communicable diseases research, specifically community-based research
\n\tFamiliarity with complex research studies in lower-socioeconomic communities
\n\tHaving worked in or with clinic\/day hospitals – familiar with day-hospital\/clinic procedures<\/p>\n
