RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
\tImplement the risk management policy framework as it relates to risk management, business continuity management, compliance, and ethics.
\n\tImplement the risk management plan, fraud prevention strategy, business continuity strategy, compliance, and monitoring plan.
\n\tImplement the risk appetite framework and combined assurance model.
\n\tMonitor the strategic, operational and projects risk profiles, including risk support to management, risk awareness and assessment of adequacy and effectiveness of risk mitigations\/controls.
\n\t\u00a0Provide support in risk management\u2019s administration.
\n\tCompile, assess and report risk information to management and the risk management committee.
\n\tMonitor the Risk Register, analyse the quarterly audit reports and any potential changes in the environment which affect the risk profile.
\n\tFacilitate the management of risks emanating from strategic and operational activities.
\n\tProvide input and support in preparation for internal and external audits.
\n\tAssist in the development and monitoring of audit action plans.
\n\tConduct control effectiveness and compliance audits.
\n\tMonitor policies and procedures for appropriate risk measures.
\n\tCompile risk compliance reports on a monthly and quarterly basis.
\n\tInvestigate and coordinate responses to queries and issues, implementing action plans for gaps identified and finalising reports.
\n\tEnsure effective and efficient business unit records management.
\n\tEnsure adherence to all relevant risk management and CETA laws, policies, and standard operating procedures.
\n\tPerform all duties and responsibilities in line with applicable Acts, Regulations and per CETA relevant policies and procedures.
\n\tFacilitate the implementation of risk management systems across business units.
\n\tConduct Enterprise Risk Management Systems training.
\n\tEnsure the effective use of the Enterprise Risk Management system.
\n\tPrepare quarterly report on the status of Risk mitigation plans.
\n\tEnsure compliance with Enterprise Risk Management Policies, Procedures, and related Acts.
\n\tProvide the internal and external auditors with necessary documentation timeously.
\n\tFacilitate and implement Enterprise Risk Management workshops.
\n\tProvide input into Enterprise Risk Management policies, procedures, forms, and process flows.
\n\t\u00a0Implement, Enterprise Risk Management policies and procedures.
\n\tContribute to the review and update of the CETA policies and procedures.
\n\tPrepare and submit to supervisor accurate, complete, and credible monthly reports as required for consolidation and tabling at monthly EXCOs.
\n\tEnsure all work performed is backed-up regularly as per ICT polices onto the CETA electronic servers.
\n\tApply \/ implement and undertake all activities and duties in line with policies, procedures and relevant laws and regulations applicable to the task at hand.
\n\tAttend risk, compliance, ethics and fraud prevention updates meetings, trainings and workshops as scheduled by CETA.
\n\tContribute to the risk maturity levels at the CETA.
\n\tFollow protocols and report suspicious activities, corrupt or fraudulent activities that one is aware of; onto the CETA whistle blowing and fraud prevention hotline.
\n\tEnsure that all relevant CETA registers, reconciliations and regulatory reports are compiled and submitted on time.
\n\tPromote a Risk Management culture within the organisation through risk workshops and awareness sessions.
\n\tPromptly and attentively respond to customer requests and queries within established parameters and timeframes.
\n\tConduct induction and training workshops as and when needed.
\n\tLiaise with internal and external stakeholders.
\n\tProvide training and promote advocacy of risk management, compliance management, business continuity management and fraud management.
\n\t\u00a0Attend and address all stakeholder queries timeously and effectively.
\n\tLive and demonstrate exemplary behaviours driven and anchored on \/ by CETA values.
\n\tEnsure that on-the-job training, learning, and development is taking place.
\n\tShare and play an effective role in ensuring that teams assist in achieving of strategic goals and mandate of the CETA.
\n\tSupervise, empower, coach and \/mentor interns that are assigned to the business unit.
\n\tContribute to the financial sustainability of CETA by ensure no wasteful and fruitless expenditures are incurred in the area of responsibility.
\n\tEnsure that is assisting the business unit to operate within the allocated operational budgets.
\n\tAttendance to development workshops and interventions as per agreed Individual Development Plan (IDP).
\n\tTimeous submission of performance agreements and reviews.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
DESIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree\/Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Risk Management\/ Compliance Management\/ Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Accounting
\n\tMinimum five (5) years Business Risk Management and or Auditing experience
\n\tKnowledge of legislations governing the CETA is advantageous.
\n\tRegistration with the institute of risk management South Africa as a risk practitioner or studying towards this qualification.<\/p>\n
