Duties and Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tConsult with students\/parents daily to resolve or assist with queries or requests.
\n\tSustain relationships with service providers.
\n\tEscalate queries\/requests within the campus communication protocol and ensure effective information sharing\/referral.
\n\tPrepare\u00a0communication for notice boards and display in designated areas.
\n\tInform\u00a0students \/ lecturers of all academic planner or timetable changes.
\n\tCapture\u00a0and update student notes on CAMS.
\n\tProcess\u00a0application for credits and extension of studies.
\n\tImplement academic programme updates.
\n\tAttend and assist in departmental meetings.
\n\tAssist and\u00a0participate in student events on and off campus.
\n\tProcess academic queries\/requests to ensure timeous feedback; i.e. intercampus transfers, academic credits, subject re-writes, special assignment requests, results, academic material and time table matters, etc.
\n\tEnsure course entrance requirements are met.
\n\tRefers\u00a0International Student Applications to designated person on campus.
\n\tPrint\u00a0and distribute lecturer information \/ material.
\n\tReview\u00a0Assessment Timetable in conjunction with Academic Operations Officers.
\n\tCollates\u00a0and verifies orders for education material (students and lecturers).
\n\tManages the administration of student files.
\n\tAdministers external institute programmes.
\n\tManages deadlines for completion of data \/ spreadsheets for reports.
\n\tDocuments\u00a0academic query \/ request processes and outcomes.
\n\tCompiles graduation lists in conjunction with Academic Operations Officers.
\n\tAssist\u00a0campus management and National with graduation..
\n\tIdentifies resources required to run programmes and ensures these are sourced timeously.
\n\tReviews\u00a0assessment timetables in conjunction with Academic Services Officer.
\n\tCaptures timetables, Lecturer and Program Managers (PM) information on ALIAS\/ SAM and CAMS.
\n\tAssist with student and lecturer\u2019s orientation.
\n\tAssist\u00a0the manager in setting up the student \/ lecturer timetables.
\n\tAssist\u00a0with student letters for, but not limited to; renewal of Visa \/ study permits, plagiarism, phase out\/pre-requisites and proof of registration.
\n\tAssist\u00a0students with extension of studies, internal and external credits, reweights, special and discounted exams, remark of exams\/ tests and mishap exams.
\n\tAssist\u00a0with student with, but not limited to; registration, open days, collection of assignments and filing, assisting with replacement tests and supplementary exams.
\n\tAssist\u00a0the team during all Internal and external audits.
\n\tReport deviations via academic query to the management.
\n\tGive\u00a0input on the annual policy review process.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tMatric
\n\tAdvanced Diploma \/ Bachelor\u2019s Degree (NQF level 7) in Business \/ Marketing \/ Public Relations \/ Communication field
\n\tA minimum of 1-2 years customer service or sales experience
\n\tExperience in an academic setting will be advantageous.
\n\tDriving License<\/p>\n
