SANParks invites applications for a strategic leadership opportunity to head its Human Capital Management (HCM) function. This role is pivotal in shaping the organisation\u2019s people strategy, driving transformation, and fostering a high-performance culture aligned with SANParks\u2019 mandate and business objectives.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tMinimum:\u00a0Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources Management, Social\u00a0Sciences, or Psychology.
\n\tPreferred: Master\u2019s degree in HRM or related field.<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\t10\u201312 years\u2019 generalist HR experience at senior management level, with at least 5 years in an executive\/strategic HR leadership role.
\n\tExposure to Board-level activities and governance processes (advantageous).<\/p>\n
Technical Competencies:<\/p>\n
\tStrong knowledge of HR systems (Sage 300 advantageous).
\n\tExpertise in talent management, labour relations, and transformation strategies.
\n\tUnderstanding of corporate governance, diversity management, and change management principles.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tLead and develop the Human Capital Management strategy aligned to SANParks\u2019 business plan.
\n\tImplement and monitor the HCM business plan, ensuring delivery of strategic objectives.
\n\tDevelop and enforce policies that comply with legislative frameworks and organisational needs.
\n\tProvide leadership and mentorship to the HCM team, ensuring capability development and succession planning.
\n\tDrive customer-centric HR service delivery and effective communication across the organisation.
\n\tEnsure compliance with all labour legislation, corporate governance standards, and transformation imperatives.
\n\tChampion change management and diversity initiatives, embedding SANParks\u2019 values and culture.
\n\tManage stakeholder relationships internally and externally for mutual benefit.
\n\tOversee sound financial management and HR systems, including HRIS and payroll platforms.<\/p>\n
