Role Purpose<\/p>\n
\tThis role is responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the business. Working directly with the General Manager, the Operations Lead ensures that the business runs smoothly across retail, warehouse, systems, and teams. This person is accountable for execution, follow-through, and operational discipline across the company. This is a hands-on role, focused on making sure things happen, problems get solved quickly, and the business operates with consistency and structure.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Day-to-Day Operations Management
\nOversee the daily running of the business across:<\/p>\n
\tRetail stores
\n\tWarehouse & logistics
\n\tOrder fulfilment
\n\tEnsure all core operations are functioning smoothly and efficiently
\n\tStep in quickly to resolve operational issues and bottlenecks
\n\tMaintain high standards across all operational touchpoints<\/p>\n
Execution & Follow-Through<\/p>\n
\tEnsure that priorities set by leadership are executed properly
\n\tFollow up across teams to ensure tasks are completed on time and to standard
\n\tDrive accountability across departments
\n\tTake ownership of outcomes, not just tasks<\/p>\n
Operations Coordination
\nAct as a central point of coordination between:<\/p>\n
\tWarehouse
\n\tRetail
\n\tProduct
\n\tEnsure clear communication and alignment across teams
\n\tKeep everyone focused on what matters most operationally<\/p>\n
Systems & Process Management
\nBuild and maintain clear, practical operating processes
\nImprove workflows across:<\/p>\n
\tInventory management
\n\tStore replenishment
\n\tOrder fulfilment
\n\tEnsure systems (Acumatica, Shopify, etc.) are being used properly and consistently
\n\tIdentify inefficiencies and implement simple, effective solutions<\/p>\n
Reporting & Operational Visibility
\nTrack and report on key operational metrics:<\/p>\n
\tSales performance
\n\tStock levels and movement
\n\tFulfilment performance
\n\tRun structured weekly operations meetings
\n\tHighlight issues early and propose solutions<\/p>\n
General Manager Support<\/p>\n
\tAct as an extension of the General Manager in day-to-day operations
\n\tTake operational load off leadership
\n\tEnsure priorities are being executed across the business
\n\tStep into any area of the business where support is needed<\/p>\n

Experience & Skills<\/p>\n
\t7+ years\u2019 experience in operations or business management
\n\tStrong operational and organisational experience
\n\tExperience working across multiple departments
\n\tStrong Excel and reporting skills
\n\tComfortable working with systems and technology
\n\tExperience in retail, eCommerce, or supply chain is highly advantageous<\/p>\n
