\tTo ensure the effective operational management, validation, inspection control, compliance, and financial coordination of auction vehicles within a corporate vehicle auction environment. The role is responsible for ensuring all vehicles meet client, compliance, quality control, and documentation standards prior to auction.<\/p>\n

Academic Qualifications
\nMinimum requirements:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 \u2013 Essential
\n\tCertificate in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field (advantageous)<\/p>\n
Work Experience
\nEssential:<\/p>\n
\t2\u20134 years in vehicle auctions, fleet management, or automotive operations
\n\tKnowledge of NATIS processes and vehicle documentation management<\/p>\n
Knowledge & Skills<\/p>\n
\tUnderstanding of vehicle auction operations and processes
\n\tKnowledge of NATIS documentation and vehicle registration requirements
\n\tUnderstanding of quality control inspection processes within automotive environments
\n\tBasic knowledge of financial processes relating to invoicing and supplier payments
\n\tUnderstanding of corporate compliance and internal control environments
\n\tStrong administrative and coordination skills
\n\tExcellent follow-up and tracking ability
\n\tFinancial reconciliation and invoice verification skills
\n\tIntermediate MS Excel and systems proficiency

Key Deliverables and Outputs
\nVehicle Validations & Client Compliance<\/p>\n
\tConduct vehicle validations, specifically for OEM clients (e.g., Ford)
\n\tManage validations for smaller corporate clients
\n\tEnsure all vehicles meet contractual and client-specific standards before auction listing
\n\tFlag and escalate vehicles relisted more than three times<\/p>\n
Inspections & Quality Control<\/p>\n
\tEnsure MQ Finance vehicles are inspected timeously
\n\tFollow up on all pending inspections
\n\tConfirm Quality Control (QC) checks are completed and properly recorded
\n\tFollow up on pending QC requirements
\n\tEnsure all stock is scanned weekly and reconciled against system records<\/p>\n
Branding & Asset Preparation<\/p>\n
\tEnsure vehicle branding removal is completed prior to auction
\n\tConfirm branding removal costs are correctly captured under Invoice Extras
\n\tFollow up on outstanding branding removals<\/p>\n
Documentation & Compliance<\/p>\n
\tFollow up on outstanding NATIS documentation
\n\tEnsure all vehicles have compliant registration documentation before sale
\n\tMaintain accurate records aligned with internal audit and governance requirements<\/p>\n
Financial & Supplier Management<\/p>\n
\tFollow up on supplier invoices
\n\tEnsure supplier invoices are processed and paid timeously
\n\tLiaise with finance department to resolve invoice discrepancies
\n\tEnsure costs relating to inspections, branding removal, and other services are accurately recorded<\/p>\n
Reporting & Administration<\/p>\n
\tAssist with daily operational reporting
\n\tGenerate and distribute ad hoc reports as required
\n\tMaintain accurate stock tracking and system updates
\n\tSupport day-to-day operational requirements within the auction division<\/p>\n
