Purpose of the role<\/p>\n
\tThe incumbent will be responsible for executing financial administrative tasks, including financial reporting related to the FM unit. The role also supports the Management Accountant by providing financial assistance to operations, the finance team, and functional heads.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
Education & Experience:<\/p>\n
\tMatric with a relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance
\n\tMinimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in a finance-related role
\n\tSAP experience (essential)
\n\tExperience with CSFAB\/AS400 systems
\n\tProficiency in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills
\n\tExperience managing the month-end process
\n\tExperience handling a debtors\u2019 book
\n\tKnowledge of Credit Management
\n\tOwn reliable transport<\/p>\n
Key Areas of Responsibility<\/p>\n
Financial Reporting & Month-End:<\/p>\n
Complete the full month-end process, including:<\/p>\n
\tFinancial analysis
\n\tPreparation of invoices in SAP
\n\tJournal entries
\n\tReconciliations
\n\tChecks and balances
\n\tPresent financial results to the Management Accountant and Regional Manager
\n\tAnalyse monthly trading results and explain variances
\n\tFacilitate monthly results sign-off with relevant stakeholders<\/p>\n
Accounts Receivable & Client Management:<\/p>\n
\tPrepare and issue invoices
\n\tFollow up on outstanding payments and remittance advice
\n\tMaintain responsibility for resolving customer finance-related issues
\n\tConduct weekly invoice signoffs with clients<\/p>\n
Reporting & Analysis:<\/p>\n
\tPrepare weekly finance reports (including open PO tracking)
\n\tProvide ad hoc reporting and analytical support<\/p>\n
Procurement & Vendor Management:<\/p>\n
\tUpload vendor quotations into Planon for approval
\n\tRaise purchase orders (POs) in SAP
\n\tEnsure GRNs are completed upon invoice receipt
\n\tReconcile vendor accounts where applicable
\n\tEnsure POs are received from clients for all services delivered<\/p>\n
Budgeting & Forecasting:<\/p>\n
\tAssist in the preparation of annual budgets
\n\tSupport forecasting processes<\/p>\n
Compliance & Audit:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure adherence to company policies and procedures
\n\tAssist with year-end audit processes<\/p>\n
General:<\/p>\n
\tPerform other finance-related duties as required<\/p>\n
