Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and promote common data systems across the Network
\n\tStrengthen data management community of practice
\n\tManage the specification and acquisition of common SAPRIN data systems
\n\tContribute to the development and implementation of SAPRIN nodal project data management plans
\n\tDevelop and promote data quality assessment and assurance standards across the network
\n\tManage the SAPRIN Core infrastructure
\n\tDefinition and harmonization of common data elements
\n\tRegular submission of the core data by SAPRIN nodes
\n\tQuality assurance of contributed core data elements
\n\tStorage of core data elements on SAPRIN cloud infrastructure
\n\tFormalise SAPRIN operational framework
\n\tEstablish and maintain SAPRIN Data Repository
\n\tDocument and load datasets onto the repository
\n\tAssisting users to register on the repository
\n\tInteract with data users to design datasets and assist with data analysis
\n\tProvide repository usage statistics and user satisfaction ratings
\n\tMaintains industry awareness of data system related products and provides feedback to SAPRIN nodes and management on data system productivity\/performance issues
\n\tDesign and implement new technology and data system features
\n\tPublish findings in peer review literature
\n\tDevelop training material for longitudinal data analysis of population dynamics
\n\tTraining SAPRIN data managers, SAPRIN Project partners and SAPRIN Data Repository users.
\n\tOwn capacity building
\n\tPlan direct, and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure that goals of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters
\n\tContribute to the development of data management strategies during projects<\/p>\n
CoreRequirements:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tFour-year tertiary qualification (Hons) in Data Science, Computer Science, or related quantitative discipline.\u00a0
\n\tMinimum 5 years of experience in data management in health research, clinical trials, or public health setting.
\n\tExperience with large datasets and or longitudinal datasets.\u00a0
\n\tDemonstrated experience in supervising teams of data officers.\u00a0
\n\tExperience in capacity building and training in data management practices.\u00a0
\n\tTrack record of contributing to large, multi-site or national-level projects.\u00a0
\n\tStrong proficiency in data management systems (e.g., REDCap, OpenClinica, DHIS2, ODK, or similar platforms).\u00a0
\n\tFamiliarity with data integration, interoperability, and standard coding systems (e.g., ICD-10, HL7, CDISC).<\/p>\n
\u00a0Advantages:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMaster\u2019s degree (or equivalent) in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
\n\tAt least 10 years\u2019 experience in Data Management, including 3 years\u2019 experience in leadership roles.
\n\tProficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Stata, SAS, or SPSS)<\/p>\n
