As a Specialist Document Control, you will be responsible to ensure all changes to the Blueprint of the plant including Engineering standards, specifications, procedures, programs and drawings from which the Operation is designed, is constructed, operated and maintained remain accurate and reflect any approved modifications of the plant and equipment.<\/p>\n
Other key responsibilities include, but aren\u2019t limited to:<\/p>\n
\tControl, update and maintain accurate data in the Document Management system as per Engineering standards to get the existing documents as Built to comply with plant blue print.
\n\tEnsure that the complete set of technical documentation of new or modified plant and equipment for the Operation is indexed on the Document Management system.
\n\tEnsure accessibility and traceability of documents and all technical data on the Document management system.
\n\tTo ensure Change Management requests are logged and updated as per plant areas and to have a system in place to ensure the Standards and Change Control per operational areas are tracked for implementation. Maintain, update, and report on Engineering Requests submitted to the Standards & Change Control sub function.
\n\tEnsure strict adherence to the defined Standards & Change Control processes and reporting, other relevant South32 \/ Operation\u2019s defined processes and standards, and Group Level Documents.
\n\tMonitor and maintain the audit schedule for plant audits for blueprint verifications.<\/p>\n
ABOUT YOU:<\/p>\n
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:<\/p>\n
\tMust have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in document control;
\n\tComputer literate in MS Office;
\n\tAdept in file searching, indexing and filing of electronic and paper system is advantageous;
\n\tProficient in document management and configuration management skills in an Engineering or Project House background is essential.<\/p>\n
Qualifications for this role are:<\/p>\n
\tNational Diploma in Technical field of study
\n\tA valid Trade Certificate is advantageous<\/p>\n
