Main Purpose of the Job<\/p>\n
\tThe Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring service delivery, and achieving commercial and operational targets for assigned accounts. The role acts as the primary link between Booyco Electronics and the client, ensuring SLA compliance, safety, and service excellence. This position is pivotal to business retention and growth, and it requires proactive issue resolution, effective communication, and the ability to create ‘Raving Fans’ through exceptional performance.<\/p>\n
Education, experience and competencies<\/p>\n
\tMatric + Bachelor\u2019s Degree\/Diploma in Electrical Engineering \/ Electronics \/ or related technical field.
\n\t5 years\u2019 experience in a technical account management or client-facing role within the mining or heavy industrial sector.
\n\tProven ability to manage key accounts and deliver against SLAs.
\n\tStrong technical knowledge of electronic\/electrical systems and equipment.
\n\tExcellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
\n\tValid driver\u2019s licence and willingness to travel extensively.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tManage and expand relationships with assigned customer accounts, acting as the primary point of contact.
\n\tConduct regular site visits and client meetings to maintain strong relationships and resolve issues proactively.
\n\tEnsure compliance with contractual service level agreements (SLAs).
\n\tMonitor and report on account performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
\n\tCollaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
\n\tDrive growth by cross-selling solutions to existing clients and identifying new business opportunities.
\n\tCompile and submit accurate month-end and quarterly client reports.
\n\tMaintain a minimum of 80% client satisfaction rating on feedback surveys.
