{"id":33709,"date":"2026-04-10T14:00:25","date_gmt":"2026-04-10T14:00:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/franchise-executive-head-new-business-development-head-alternative-distribution-channel-development\/"},"modified":"2026-04-10T14:00:48","modified_gmt":"2026-04-10T14:00:48","slug":"franchise-executive-head-new-business-development-head-alternative-distribution-channel-development","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/franchise-executive-head-new-business-development-head-alternative-distribution-channel-development\/","title":{"rendered":"Franchise Executive \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Head: New Business Development \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Head: Alternative Distribution (Channel Development)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>THE ROLE<\/p>\n<p>\tYou will take ownership of national franchise performance, leading franchise managers and supporting franchisees to achieve strategic, operational, and financial objectives.<\/p>\n<p>Key responsibilities include:<\/p>\n<p>\tManaging and leading a national team of franchise managers<br \/>\n\tDriving operational excellence across all franchise locations<br \/>\n\tEnsuring alignment to brand standards, product quality, and service delivery<br \/>\n\tDeveloping and implementing growth strategies across the franchise network<br \/>\n\tSupporting franchisees with business planning, performance improvement, and execution<br \/>\n\tBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with franchisees and key stakeholders<br \/>\n\tConducting regular site visits to monitor performance and provide support<br \/>\n\tIdentifying operational challenges and implementing corrective strategies<br \/>\n\tDriving the adoption of operational tools, campaigns, and best practices<br \/>\n\tManaging financial performance, including:<br \/>\n\tIncreasing sales, customer spend, and footfall<br \/>\n\tImproving gross profit and reducing shrinkage<br \/>\n\tMonitoring budgets, performance metrics, and financial reporting<br \/>\n\tSupporting marketing and brand development initiatives<br \/>\n\tEnsuring effective implementation of national campaigns and local marketing strategies<br \/>\n\tActing as brand custodian to ensure consistency and integrity across all stores<br \/>\n\tOverseeing reporting, administration, and compliance across the franchise network<br \/>\n\tConducting financial reviews and audits<br \/>\n\tEnsuring accurate and timely reporting from franchisees<br \/>\n\tDriving expansion and growth opportunities, including new store openings<br \/>\n\tIdentifying new markets, sites, and business opportunities<br \/>\n\tSupporting franchisees through store setup, training, and launch execution<br \/>\n\tLeading training and development initiatives across the franchise network<br \/>\n\tIdentifying skills gaps and coordinating training interventions<br \/>\n\tCoaching and mentoring franchise managers and store teams<\/p>\n<p>WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR<br \/>\nKey requirements:<\/p>\n<p>\tRelevant qualification in Business, Franchise Management, or related field<br \/>\n\t6+ years&#8217;
