This role combines strategic vision with hands-on sales leadership, requiring someone who can execute in short-term sprints while maintaining long-term focus.<\/p>\n<p>What the Candidate Will Need \/ Bonus Points<\/p>\n<p>What the Candidate Will Do<\/p>\n<p>Team Leadership<\/p>\n<p>\tRecruit, coach, and lead a high-performing team of strategy and sales professionals<br \/>\n\tBuild a motivated team culture<br \/>\n\tProvide comprehensive leadership that upholds Uber Values<br \/>\n\tFoster collaboration with cross-functional partners including operations, marketing, product, finance, and customer support<\/p>\n<p>Merchant Strategy &amp; Growth<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelop and execute scalable merchant growth strategies aligned with business objectives<br \/>\n\tAnalyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine strategy<br \/>\n\tPrepare strategic presentations with actionable insights for executive reviews<br \/>\n\tLead Joint Business Planning discussions with SMB merchants<\/p>\n<p>Sales Leadership<\/p>\n<p>\tBuild and inspire a sizeable sales team to acquire and deepen merchant partnerships across multiple products<br \/>\n\tEstablish a solution-based account management culture focused on development, integrity, and results<br \/>\n\tSet ambitious sales targets and monitor performance through data-driven analysis<br \/>\n\tBuild long-lasting relationships with key merchant partners through executive coverage<br \/>\n\tPartner with operations and product teams to shape the future of food delivery<\/p>\n<p>Merchant Experience<\/p>\n<p>\tImplement data-driven analytics to improve merchant quality and experience<br \/>\n\tOptimize onboarding, support, and compliance processes<\/p>\n<p>Basic Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>\t4+ years in general management, consulting, or strategic sales with experience leading teams<br \/>\n\tProven ability to build motivated teams through coaching and enablement<br \/>\n\tStrong strategic thinking with the ability to translate data into actionable insights<br \/>\n\tExcellent business judgment and ability to establish priorities quickly<br \/>\n\tAbility to balance short-term execution with long-term vision, and local priorities with global alignment<br \/>\n\tExperience in matrixed environments with cross-functional stakeholders<br \/>\n\tStrong organizational and project management skills<\/p>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>\tBonus points for background in SQL, analytics, leadership training, strong people skills<br \/>\n\tUber&#8217;s mission is to reimagine the way the world moves for the better.
