\tThe Data, Reporting and Analytics Specialist role supports excellence in Supply Chain, working with leaders and teams to define, develop and implement leading practice in data (including master data), reporting and analytics and support the enablement of new\/disruptive technology systems to drive continuous improvement to attain and maintain performance targets.<\/p>\n
Purpose:<\/p>\n
\tProvide specialist support to enable the achievement of associated plans and Data, Reporting and Analytics roadmaps for Supply Chain<\/p>\n
Key responsibilities for the role:<\/p>\n
Safety, Health and Environment:<\/p>\n
\tIdentify ways to support relevant safety, health & sustainability opportunities and risks and ensure relevant activities complies with all Safety, Health & Environmental requirements.
\n\tImplement relevant activities to ensure that expectations are met in a way that reduces safety related incidents.
\n\tIdentify value creation opportunities that will deliver Anglo American\u2019s safety and social performance requirements.<\/p>\n
Performance and Delivery:<\/p>\n
\tContribute to the development and delivery of the Global Data, Reporting and Analytics strategy and roadmap and priority initiatives for Supply Chain and the broader organization.
\n\tAssist with the implementation and adoption of the Supply Chain data, reporting and analytics priority initiatives.
\n\tProvide support with the deployment and adoption of new SC digital and analytical solutions.
\n\tEncourage effective change through the organisation that will promote the use and adoption of new global SC digital and analytical solutions
\n\tSupport a global and strategic approach across all master data work.<\/p>\n
Supply Chain Excellence:<\/p>\n
\tProvide specialist support with defining new ways of working, enabling systems, tools and templates and advanced analytics.
\n\tCompile reports and dashboard to ensure delivery of SC digital and analytical solutions.
\n\tSupport with analysing reports and dashboards to ensure delivery of SC digital and analytical solutions.
\n\tInterpret data analysis and benchmarking data to compile relevant analytics and reporting improvement plans.
\n\tConduct broad scanning activities to keep up to date with innovative approaches and opportunities.
\n\tCompile research and data analysis for best practice definitions.
\n\tCollaborate closely with global and business teams to identify and address issues, glean insights from users and drive focus on continuous improvement in the SC data, reporting and analytics space.<\/p>\n
Sustainability and Social:<\/p>\n
\tSupport the Supply Chain sustainability strategy and priorities to the wider business through data and analytics efforts.<\/p>\n
Compliance and Governance:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure compliance to internal Anglo American and Supply Chain Governance requirements for all team members and pertaining to all relevant activities.
\n\tEnsure compliance to applicable legislative requirements pertaining to relevant activities.<\/p>\n
People and Teams<\/p>\n
\tRegular, timeous and accurate reporting pertaining to all relevant activities.
\n\tEmbrace a Supply Chain team culture of diversity and inclusiveness.
\n\tSupport team\u2019s adherence to planned timeframes.
\n\tSupport cross functional team interactions with internal stakeholders to execute relevant activities.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tAn undergraduate qualification – Bachelor degree level or equivalent, alternatively relevant tertiary qualification and proven track record of extensive practical experience in a role and context of similar complexity
\n\tDesirable : A postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline OR a proven track record of extensive practical experience in a role and context of similar complexity<\/p>\n
Technical Knowledge:<\/p>\n
\tStrong technical knowledge across the Supply Chain value chain, ability to integrate and understand what drives excellence
\n\tSound Data, Analytics and Reporting knowledge
\n\tProven track record of extensive practical experience in a role and context of a similar complexity.
\n\tProven global master data management experience and ability to identify and implement strategic business opportunities for data management.
\n\tSound commercial knowledge
\n\tProject management and planning<\/p>\n
