Main Purpose of the Role<\/p>\n
\tEnsuring minimum downtime at DSV Park (Plumbago) operations and ensuring all preventative & corrective\/reactive maintenance activities are completed according to plan & budget.
\n\tManage and take overall responsibility for all maintenance, breakdowns, maintenance personnel and infrastructure for respective area & equipment. Provide a safe and healthy environment for all employees.<\/p>\n
Tertiary Qualification<\/p>\n
\tMinimum NQF Level 6 qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Refrigeration, HVAC, Automation or Facilities Management.
\n\tCompleted apprenticeship.<\/p>\n
Computer Literacy Level\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tAdvanced MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook<\/p>\n

Job Related Requirements\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in Facility Management, maintenance and preventative maintenance.
\n\tExperience in budget management for facility maintenance, preventative maintenance planning and warranty claims.
\n\tExperience managing vendors and service level agreements (SLAs).
\n\tSound knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, BMS and HVAC systems.
\n\tKnowledge of fire protection and fire detection systems, including ASIB compliance.
\n\tProven people management experience, with the ability to manage maintenance staff supporting operations.
\n\tAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.
\n\tAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks in a high-pressure environment.
\n\tMust be able to participate in a standby rotation schedule.
\n\tOwn transport and a valid driver\u2019s licence required.
\n\tStrong communication skills and ability to represent the company professionally.
\n\tHands-on and practical approach to work and attention to detail.
\n\tHigh level of accountability and responsibility with a can-do attitude.
\n\tHonest, reliable and a strong team player.

Added advantages for the Role<\/p>\n
\tAbility to manage small\/medium\/large projects with multiple stakeholders and contractors and any other routine jobs such as reactive maintenance of electrical connections, repairing lights and electrical circuits in an office environment.
\n\tWorking with Conveyers, belting, sortation systems and auto baggers would be an advantage.
\n\tExperience in Contract Management and the interpretation and implementation of contracts with suppliers.
\n\tPlumbing knowledge and experience.<\/p>\n
Duties & Responsibilities\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tRoot cause identification and investigation for issues reported by users and provide analysis of findings to support trouble shooting and prevent downtime.
\n\tConsult with internal departments, Vendors and Suppliers to plan equipment downtime for service or maintenance. Provides support to vendors with onsite identification of possible faults or breakdowns.
\n\tPerforming a daily Preventative maintenance checklist for key equipment. Using scheduled daily downtime during lunch breaks to complete a list of daily checks.
\n\tEnsuring spare parts are replaced and replenished when consumed, while managing and maintaining critical spare lists for multiple pieces of equipment and suppliers.
\n\tKeeping an up-to-date tools inventory list.
\n\tCompleting safety inspection checklists as per supplier requirements
\n\tEnsuring all data and records of repairs services for audits are current and a full-service history is kept up to date. Records to be kept in a file for each supplier.
\n\tAssisting with all other emergencies as and when required within the DSV Park Solar City Environment
\n\tStandby and overtime is required with some weekends being used to perform maintenance
\n\tKeeping daily records of work performed to identify trends as well as work split between the different entities.
\n\tManage attic stock.
\n\tManaging & ensuring safety files are in place & updated\/maintained<\/p>\n

\tEnsure a high standard of housekeeping is maintained
\n\tManaging Tickets and Service Levels with Ticket System (On Key Plus)
\n\tReview and approve weekly timesheets for all maintenance staff.
