\tThe Planner III is responsible for mentoring the Merchandise Planning Team, projecting future sales into key categories, and optimizing planning processes. This includes managing range assortments and replenishment, implementing distribution strategies, and providing guidance and support to team members.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tDrive product\u202fefficiencies and key measures \u2013 sales, markdown, stock, sales margin\u202f\u202f\u202f\u00a0
\n\tDeveloping category strategic, tactical, and operational plans to achieve set targets
\n\tManagement of range assortment at store level in conjunction with the buyer\u00a0
\n\tManage OTB allowance both in-season and forward budgets
\n\tAnalysis and review of trade with the buying team and propose and drive actions.
\n\tPreparation and presentation of performance in trade meetings
\n\tReporting on performance, initiatives and operational plans to management periodically (weekly, monthly, seasonally, and annually)
\n\tTeam player and be able to foster\u202fcollaboration across buying, planning, marketing, VM, suppliers and operations functions
\n\tBe influential in the implementing of change to achieve company goals\/objectives
\n\tDrive allocation strategy with allocator
\n\tDelivery management
\n\tMarkdown proposal and action
\n\tRegular store visits as a team\u00a0<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tA completed National Diploma or Degree in Business Management\/BCom or related studies with majors in Finance, Statistics, Economics, or Maths.\u00a0
\n\tMin 5 years of proven working experience as a Planner<\/p>\n
Skills\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tSound understanding of the retail cycle and planning process\u202f\u00a0
\n\tA good working knowledge of the current computer software packages including Microsoft office, advance MS Excel skills
\n\tA high degree of numeracy and an analytical, detailed and strategic approach to work.<\/p>\n
