KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
\tEffective management of the Plastic department, which includes the management of Supervisors, Setters, Mold changers, Process controllers and Machine operators.
\n\tEnsuring that Plastic department is effectively producing all components and supplying CF, Fridge and SBS lines in time and in good quality.
\n\tMaking most efficient utilization of the available sources for production.
\n\tBuilding team spirit among the workforce and motivating by means of personal involvement so that production levels are achieved and maintained.
\n\tTrouble-shoot and adjust molding parameters to maintain quality and maximum product output.
\n\tMinimizing cost (scrap, over production, waste, idle, overtime, etc.) and maximizing profit
\n\tPerform work to comply with the company\u2019s safety standards
\n\tTo supervise subordinates and achieve scheduled production targets to the required quality standards.
\n\tEnsure regrind material reduction by enforcing usage on non-critical components.
\n\tReducing Mold change and setup time.<\/p>\n
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
\tInjection molding Advanced qualification and or a N4, T4 electrical \/ mechanical (Optional)
\n\tComputer Literate (Microsoft office, SAP) and be able to analyze data for production improvements.
\n\t5 years\u2019 experience with plastics injection molding setting\/mold changes and extrusion.
\n\tMust be able to read, write and speak English.
\n\tGood communication skills and proven leadership qualities
\n\tAdapt to changes in higher production volumes<\/p>\n
