Role Overview<\/p>\n
\tWe are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Specialist to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and business intelligence solutions that support data-driven decision-making.
\n\tThe successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and IT teams to transform complex data into meaningful insights using Microsoft Power BI.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Data Visualization & Reporting<\/p>\n
\tDesign, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
\n\tTranslate business requirements into effective data visualizations and reporting solutions.
\n\tOptimize dashboards for performance, usability, and scalability.<\/p>\n
Data Modelling & Integration<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and maintain robust data models within Power BI.
\n\tIntegrate data from multiple sources including databases, data warehouses, APIs, and cloud platforms.
\n\tCreate and maintain DAX calculations, measures, and KPIs.<\/p>\n
Business Analysis & Collaboration<\/p>\n
\tWork with stakeholders to understand business requirements and reporting needs.
\n\tProvide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
\n\tSupport business users with training and adoption of Power BI solutions.<\/p>\n
Data Quality & Governance<\/p>\n
\tEnsure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports.
\n\tImplement best practices for data governance and security.
\n\tMaintain documentation for reports, data models, and processes.<\/p>\n
Performance & Optimization<\/p>\n
\tMonitor and improve Power BI report performance.
\n\tImplement efficient queries and data refresh processes.
\n\tTroubleshoot and resolve data and reporting issues.<\/p>\n
Required Experience<\/p>\n
\tProven experience working with Microsoft Power BI in a BI or data analytics role.
\n\tExperience with data modelling and data visualization techniques.
\n\tStrong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data transformation.
\n\tExperience integrating data from SQL databases and other enterprise systems.
\n\tExperience building enterprise-level dashboards and reporting solutions.<\/p>\n
Technical Skills<\/p>\n
\tMicrosoft Power BI Desktop & Power BI Service
\n\tDAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
\n\tPower Query \/ M Language
\n\tSQL and relational databases
\n\tData modelling and data warehousing concepts
\n\tMicrosoft Excel and Office tools<\/p>\n
Preferred Skills<\/p>\n
\t10 years’ experience with Azure Data Services (Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory)
\n\tKnowledge of ETL processes and data pipelines
\n\tUnderstanding of data governance and security best practices<\/p>\n
Education<\/p>\n
\tBachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field preferred.<\/p>\n
