\tThe Hello Group, based in Centurion, is looking for a Junior HR Administrator\/Coordinator to join our dynamic HR team. This is a great opportunity for an entry-level HR professional with a qualification in Human Resources or equivalent, eager to gain hands-on experience and contribute to HR best practices aligned with our business strategy.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nRecruitment & Onboarding<\/p>\n
\tAssist with job advertisements, shortlisting, and interview scheduling.
\n\tDraft and track temporary and permanent contracts, setting calendar reminders for renewals.
\n\tSubmit onboarding packs to payroll and create employee files. Conduct reference and background checks where required.<\/p>\n
HR Administration & Compliance<\/p>\n
\tMaintain accurate employee records, ensuring all documents are properly filed.
\n\tCompile HR letters such as confirmation of employment and transfer letters.
\n\tTrack and manage probation periods, scheduling reviews accordingly.
\n\tAssist with drafting and updating HR policies and procedures.
\n\tEnsure compliance with labour laws and company policies.<\/p>\n
Industrial Relations (IR)<\/p>\n
\tAssist with disciplinary hearings, including taking minutes.
\n\tSupport HR Business Partners (BPs) with CCMA case preparation.
\n\tDraft warnings and IR documentation for Senior BP review.<\/p>\n
Payroll Support<\/p>\n
\tSubmit new employee details to payroll. Assist in processing leave applications and payroll-related documentation.<\/p>\n
General HR Support<\/p>\n
\tMaintain an organizSd HR filing system and ensure documentation is updated weekly.
\n\tRespond to employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
\n\tAssist with training coordination, including booking venues, preparing materials, and tracking attendance. Provide ad hoc administrative support as needed.<\/p>\n
Performance Management<\/p>\n
\tAssist in the development and updating of job profiles.
\n\tSupport with KPIs and KPA coding and recoding. Import and manage data for bi-annual performance reviews.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
\n\tStrong administrative and organizational skills.\u00a0
\n\tAbility to handle confidential information with discretion.
\n\tExcellent attention to detail and communication skills.
\n\tProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
\n\tRelevant work experience as an HR Generalist or Junior HRBP.
\n\tKnowledge and a good understanding of BCEA, LRA, POPIA, and OHSA.
\n\tSage 300 Experience (Advantageous).<\/p>\n
