Overview:<\/p>\n
\tWeylandts Furniture Creations is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman on a contract basis (3-4 months) to support the conversion of existing design assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating current Fusion models and technical drawings into SolidWorks format, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to design standards.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tConvert existing Fusion models into SolidWorks format with precision and attention to detail
\n\tTranslate and update technical drawings to align with ISO standards
\n\tVerify accuracy and completeness of converted files
\n\tMaintain organized documentation and version control of all drawings
\n\tCollaborate with internal teams to clarify design intent and resolve discrepancies
\n\tEnsure all outputs meet company quality and technical standards<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tWorking knowledge of Fusion and SolidWorks
\n\tProficiency in Microsoft Office
\n\tStrong understanding of technical drawing principles and standards
\n\tHigh level of attention to detail and accuracy
\n\tAbility to work independently and meet deadlines<\/p>\n
Preferred Skills:<\/p>\n
\tPrevious experience in furniture or product design
\n\tFamiliarity with manufacturing processes<\/p>\n
