{"id":33850,"date":"2026-04-14T08:00:28","date_gmt":"2026-04-14T08:00:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/business-development-coordinator\/"},"modified":"2026-04-14T08:00:40","modified_gmt":"2026-04-14T08:00:40","slug":"business-development-coordinator","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/business-development-coordinator\/","title":{"rendered":"Business Development Coordinator"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Purpose of role:<\/p>\n<p>\tPart of the Business Development (BD) team, this role supports Business Development in all administrative and Salesforce support relating to Business Development activities across PFSG.<br \/>\n\tA key objective of the role is to support the BD initiatives and work alongside the other team members.<br \/>\n\tThe role also includes administrative and salesforce support to Prescient Capital Markets insofar of business development activities are involved.<\/p>\n<p>Duties and responsibilities:<br \/>\nBusiness Development Support:<\/p>\n<p>\tCoordinating travel, diary management and meeting logistics (Teams and in-person) for the Head of Business Development and BD team as applicable, including itineraries, accommodation and scheduling.<br \/>\n\tResponsible for setting up meetings in advance of client on site visits and ensuring relevant teams\/people are included and notified in advance.<br \/>\n\tWork with catering \/ IT staff etc. to set up meeting room and all catering is organised for client onsite and meetings, as applicable and required.<br \/>\n\tAdministrative and Support to the Business Development team (consisting of BD and product development teams):<br \/>\n\tLocal and international meetings coordination function (Teams and in person) as required for Business Development opportunities. \u00a0<br \/>\n\tFacilitating the necessary marketing materials, rooms, gifting, catering etc. for Business Development pitches and team needs.<br \/>\n\tAssisting in the due diligence processes for new business, industry surveys, questionnaires, and other general information requests and initiatives, working alongside the BD Managers in a support \/ administrative role.<br \/>\n\tDocumenting full lifecycle of BD pitches in Salesforce from initial interactive, desktop research, uploading contact, account and opportunities, to weekly follow ups around reporting and dashboards, supporting the BD Managers.<br \/>\n\tCollaborate with the Marketing team to ensure all presentations and templates are current and accurate.<\/p>\n<p>Team Interaction:<\/p>\n<p>\tThe key objective to work on a collaborative basis, ensuring that the team remains cohesive and successful.<br \/>\n\tAlways operate within the Prescient value system (internally and externally)<br \/>\n\tDeal with people as partners, with respect, an open mind and fairness<br \/>\n\tContribute positively to morale and be solution driven<\/p>\n<p>Required experience:<\/p>\n<p>\tAt least 4 years\u2019 experience in asset management \/ fund administration in a related role with exposure to institutional client service, client engagement, business development support is essential. Experience in handling RFP\u2019s, questionnaires, Due diligences etc. required.<br \/>\n\tAdvanced skills in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word will be advantageous.<\/p>\n<p>Required Qualifications:<\/p>\n<p>\tRelevant commerce degree (Investments, Finance, Commerce).<\/p>\n<p>Key competencies:<\/p>\n<p>\tAccuracy and meticulous attention to detail.<br \/>\n\tPositive, pro-active team player.<br \/>\n\tAble to work well in a team environment.<br \/>\n\tHighly organised with good time management skills.<br \/>\n\tAble to handle stress well.<br \/>\n\tOwnership driven, take responsibilities for a variety of talks.<br \/>\n\tAnalytical thinker with problem solving skills.<br \/>\n\tHonesty, integrity and mutual respect for co-workers.
