Reporting to the Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO), the successful candidate will be responsible for inter-alia:<\/p>\n
\tproviding direction co-ordination for the branch to support the strategic objectives of FEM and ensure robust and effective relations with internal and external stakeholders.\u00a0
\n\tSet sales goals and monitor team performance.
\n\tConduct regular coaching and performance reviews.
\n\tDevelop and implement sales plans to meet business objectives.
\n\tAnalyse market trends.
\n\tIdentify new business opportunities and customer segments.
\n\tAchieve own new business targets.
\n\tPrepare regular sales reports and forecasts.
\n\tEnsure compliance with insurance regulations and company policies.
\n\tMonitor and manage risk within the sales process.
\n\tThe successful candidate will be responsible for a team of approximately 4 staff members. Knowledge of the Insurance Act and COIDA (Compensation for Injuries and Diseases Act) will be a distinct advantage.
\n\tThe successful candidate will also be required to develop and maintain relationships with FEM\u2019s grant recipients, and industry specific stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tThe minimum requirement for the position is a related Bachelor\u2019s degree with a minimum of 5 years related experience in a senior management environment, with at least 5 years in a financial services environment and 5 years in a marketing and sales environment. Excellent application of financial principles, marketing and sales, communications and analytical skills complete our requirements.<\/p>\n
