Future Skills Strategy, e-Government modernisation, Smart City initiatives, and cybersecurity readiness, while ensuring full adherence to public-sector procurement legislation and governance frameworks.<br \/>\n\tThe SAM will operate as the primary customer lead, engaging across DG, DDG, CIO, CFO, HOD, Municipal Manager and SOE executive levels, ensuring Nexio\u2019s value proposition is positioned to enable government service delivery, efficiency, and digital transformation.<\/p>\n<p>ROLE REQUIREMENT<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelop and execute multi-year account strategies aligned to National Treasury priorities, MTEF\/MTSF cycles, and sector-specific mandates.<br \/>\n\tMap customer environments in line with SA Government Clusters (Justice &amp; Security, Economic, Social, Governance).<br \/>\n\tBuild trusted relationships with DGs, DDGs, CIOs, CFOs, Municipal Managers, HODs, Boards, and SOE leadership.<br \/>\n\tPosition Nexio as a strategic advisor through a deep understanding of government digital transformation programmes.<br \/>\n\tIdentify, qualify, and close opportunities linked to public-sector initiatives:<br \/>\n\tDigital Government Modernisation<br \/>\n\tPublic-sector cybersecurity and POPIA compliance<br \/>\n\tGovCloud-aligned cloud migration<br \/>\n\tMunicipal revenue enhancement systems<br \/>\n\tERP and infrastructure modernisation for SOEs<br \/>\n\tSmart City and e-government platforms<br \/>\n\tDeliver revenue, margin, and pipeline targets through cross-sell and upsell motions.<br \/>\n\tManage complex government tender processes in accordance with:<br \/>\n\tPFMA<br \/>\n\tMFMA<br \/>\n\tPPPFA<br \/>\n\tNational Treasury Regulations<br \/>\n\tCSD compliance requirements<br \/>\n\tNavigate public sector RFP\/RFQ\/RFI processes, open bids, transversal contracts, and SITA procurement requirements.<br \/>\n\tEnsure transparent, compliant sales practices aligned to PFMA, MFMA, POPIA, Cybercrimes Act, B-BBEE, and Public Service Regulations.<br \/>\n\tCollaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure accurate, risk-mitigated bid submissions.<br \/>\n\tBuild joint go-to-market strategies with OEMs, SIs, B-BBEE partners, and technology alliances relevant to government.<br \/>\n\tEngage strategically with SITA, SALGA, COGTA, Provincial Treasuries, and sector-specific ICT forums.<br \/>\n\tRepresent Nexio at industry events such as GovTech, SALGA Conferences, SITA Summits, and Municipal ICT forums.<br \/>\n\tMaintain accurate forecasting and CRM data aligned with government budget cycles (APPs, IDPs, Strategic Plans).<br \/>\n\tMap National and Provincial budget allocations and procurement pipelines to influence opportunity development.<br \/>\n\tConduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key departments, municipalities, and SOEs.<br \/>\n\tEnsure seamless delivery of complex ICT programmes within government environments.<br \/>\n\tSupport change-management, governance, and end-user adoption across public-sector projects.<br \/>\n\tManage escalations and ensure SLAs and KPIs meet government performance standards.<br \/>\n\tStay informed on:<br \/>\n\tNational Treasury budget allocations<br \/>\n\tGovernment ICT strategies &amp; policies<br \/>\n\tMunicipal turnaround strategies<br \/>\n\tDigital transformation legislation and reforms<br \/>\n\tConvert insights into actionable sales strategies, solution positioning, and executive engagement.<br \/>\n\tMentor junior sales and account resources.<br \/>\n\tInfluence internal strategy for public-sector prioritisation, solution investment, and value proposition alignment.<br \/>\n\tDrive collaboration across sales, delivery, finance, bid office and compliance teams.<\/p>\n<p>Additional Information:<\/p>\n<p>\tBeing a Nexio Senior Account Manager is a high-profile professional person that is self-motivated and thrives on the challenges faced with customer engagement, self-improvement, fast paced and pressured environments. \u00a0A person with a will and a passion for success in a sales role.<\/p>\n<p>TECHNICAL \/ PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES<\/p>\n<p>\tDeep knowledge of PFMA, MFMA, PPPFA, NT Regulations, POPIA, Cybercrimes Act.<br \/>\n\tStrong experience with large ICT solution sales cycles.<br \/>\n\tTender management and SITA-related procurement proficiency.<br \/>\n\tStrong negotiation, influencing, and executive communication capabilities.<br \/>\n\tAnalytical and financial acumen to interpret budgets, MTEF, and APPs.<\/p>\n<p>QUALIFICATIONS &amp;
