Experience<br \/>\nMinimum Requirements<\/p>\n<p>\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Business Management, Commerce, Finance, or related field<br \/>\n\t5\u20138 years\u2019 experience in business development or growth-focused sales roles<br \/>\n\tProven experience in pipeline creation, structured prospecting, and new customer conversion<br \/>\n\tStrong exposure to commercial proposals, tenders, and onboarding processes<\/p>\n<p>Advantageous<\/p>\n<p>\tPostgraduate qualification (Honours, MBA, or Management Development Programme)<br \/>\n\tExperience in manufacturing, industrial, or technically complex environments<\/p>\n<p>Additional Requirements<\/p>\n<p>\tValid Code B driver\u2019s licence<br \/>\n\tProficiency in MS Office and sales\/CRM systems<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities<br \/>\nGrowth &amp; Pipeline Execution<\/p>\n<p>\tExecute defined growth priorities across target segments, geographies, channels, and products<br \/>\n\tBuild, manage, and maintain a qualified sales pipeline aligned to strategic priorities<br \/>\n\tEnsure disciplined pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and measurable conversion outcomes<\/p>\n<p>New Business &amp; Emerging Account Development<\/p>\n<p>\tDrive new logo acquisition within defined target criteria<br \/>\n\tOwn and develop emerging and tail-end customers, progressing them into stable accounts<br \/>\n\tIdentify and qualify opportunities that meet profitability, margin, and sustainability requirements<\/p>\n<p>Prospecting &amp; Lead Conversion<\/p>\n<p>\tRun structured prospecting campaigns including targeted outreach, referrals, industry events, and campaigns<br \/>\n\t\u01eaualify leads based on needs, volume, margin potential, service model fit, and credit risk<br \/>\n\tManage the full conversion cycle from first engagement through proposal, negotiation support, and onboarding readiness<\/p>\n<p>Commercial Solution Enablement<\/p>\n<p>\tTranslate customer requirements into viable commercial solutions aligned to existing capabilities<br \/>\n\tCoordinate internal stakeholders (technical, supply chain, finance, pricing, legal) to shape fit-for-purpose offers<br \/>\n\tSupport commercial modelling and pricing inputs to ensure proposals are approval-ready<\/p>\n<p>Proposal, Tender G Governance Support<\/p>\n<p>\tCoordinate proposal and tender submissions, ensuring compliance with internal governance and approval processes<br \/>\n\tMaintain standardised costing and proposal approaches aligned to commercial rules<\/p>\n<p>Customer Onboarding G Handover<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure a structured onboarding and handover of converted customers<br \/>\n\tAlign service expectations and operational readiness prior to handover<br \/>\n\tConduct post-handover reviews (30\u201390 days) with account owners to ensure stability and success<\/p>\n<p>Market Intelligence G Reporting<\/p>\n<p>\tMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging customer needs<br \/>\n\tProvide actionable market insights to Sales C Marketing leadership<br \/>\n\tMaintain accurate CRM reporting, tracking pipeline activity, conversion rates, and win\/loss insights<\/p>\n<p>Skills &amp;
