\tTo manage and administer liability claims under binder agreements on behalf of insurers, ensuring accurate processing, compliance with mandates, and excellent service delivery to brokers and clients.<\/p>\n

\nQualifications<\/p>\n
\tMatric \/ Grade 12
\n\tLaw Degree \u2013 preferable but not mandatory, subject to experience in Short-Term insurance environment
\n\t60 FAIS Credits
\n\tInsurance qualification preferable
\n\tRE5 qualification<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\t5 years experience, some of which should be in a legal practice environment or insurance recovery & liability environment
\n\tExperience working with binder agreements
\n\tIntensive knowledge of liability claims and resulting litigation
\n\tIntensive knowledge of recoveries
\n\tKnowledge in administering and handling liability claims and recoveries
\n\tComputer literacy (MS Word, Outlook and Excel)<\/p>\n
Duties & Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tDay-to-day reporting to the Team Leader
\n\tHandling liability claims, Recoveries and litigation matters in accordance with claims handling procedures
\n\tFacilitating and managing outsourced motor liability claims and recoveries
\n\tHandling and settling claims within stipulated time frames and as per SLAs \/ mandates in place
\n\tEntering into settlement negotiations with third parties \/ third party representatives
\n\tNegotiating with motor assessors, attorneys, other service providers
\n\tProviding technical advice on litigated matters
\n\tProviding clients \/ brokers with the highest standard of service
\n\tProviding clients \/ brokers with feedback on claims progress at all times
\n\tEnsuring diary system is implemented and adhered to at all times
\n\tEnsuring adherence to SLAs \/ mandates in place with regards to claims from mandated brokers
\n\tRendering assistance from time to time with ad hoc tasks<\/p>\n
