Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tConduct simple and complex chemical tests independently, including troubleshooting.
\n\tVerify and interpret test results using known reference data.
\n\tMaintain turnaround times (TATs) and escalate delays to the Chemistry Lab Manager.
\n\tOperate and maintain laboratory instruments (e.g., ICP-MS, UV-Vis, AAS).
\n\tNotify management of calibration and servicing needs.
\n\tEnsure compliance with OHS and Quality Assurance procedures.
\n\tImplement corrective actions for quality and TAT deviations.
\n\tManage stock levels and consumable costs effectively.
\n\tFoster positive relationships with internal and external clients.
\n\tMaintain good housekeeping and safety practices.
\n\tRead and understand relevant procedures and MSDSs.
\n\tPerform other duties within scope as assigned.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tNational Diploma or Degree in Analytical Chemistry or Biotechnology.<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\t1\u20132 years\u2019 experience in Nutritional and Heavy Metal Analysis.
\n\tExposure to SANAS ISO\/IEC 17025 accredited environments.<\/p>\n
