\tThe ideal team player will play an essential role in maintaining biosecurity, supporting intake and dispatch operations, and ensuring seamless communication between departments.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tMatric (Grade 12)
\n\tMin. 2 years’ experience in an agricultural setting.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tBiosecurity and Hygiene
\n\tClean bulk loading scales and intake areas every morning before operations begin.
\n\tEnsure biosecurity protocols are followed when interacting with truck drivers and documents.<\/p>\n
Documentation handling<\/p>\n
\tCollect raw material delivery documents from truck Drivers.
\n\tDeliver documents to the Dispatch office to facilitate the weighing-in process.
\n\tTake finished goods delivery documents and samples to drivers (GFC).
\n\tTransport samples and paperwork between production, lab, and dispatch departments.<\/p>\n
Traffic and yard coordination<\/p>\n
\tDirect raw material trucks on when and where to offload.
\n\tInform the laboratory team of trucks for sampling purposes.
\n\tMonitor truck movement and ensure all intake protocols are followed.<\/p>\n
Operational support<\/p>\n
\tCheck intake pits and bunkers regularly for blockages or overflow.
\n\tAssist in shifting the tipper car when needed, as instructed by the Shift Supervisor.<\/p>\n
Skills Required<\/p>\n
\tMust be able to work shifts.
\n\tMust be able to work overtime in order to meet business requirements.
\n\tTeam player.
\n\tGood communication skills.
\n\tMaintaining a professional attitude and appearance.<\/p>\n
