Main Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tContributing to the development and application of the sales strategy and plans which contribute to the overall business objectives.
\n\tManaging and controlling all aspects of customer relationship management.
\n\tObtaining new business and the effective management of the portfolio\u2019s top clients.
\n\tMaintaining sound relationships with existing clients and fostering the development of new clients
\n\tFostering and maintaining relationships with the professional sector and endorsing the development of specifications
\n\tManaging & controlling the progress of sales enquiries through to a successful sale.
\n\tProviding assistance to finance department in respect of collections and communicating and assistance in resolving customer complaints
\n\tEnsuring the collections of cash sales in full (cleared in bank) prior to manufacture & release of goods.
\n\tDeveloping, gathering and sharing of market intelligence with all stakeholders.
\n\tEffective use of SAP and attending to the assimilation of required reporting
\n\tAttendance in and participation of stock takes, conference attendance and training sessions
\n\tInspections of construction sites prior to mobile mill rolling\u2019s and steel laying foundations (where applicable)<\/p>\n
Qualifications required:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum academic qualification: National Diploma in Sales
\n\tQualifications as an added advantage: Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n
Experience required:<\/p>\n
\tGeneral work experience (years): 05 years in sales, account management, or a related field
\n\tSpecific to the position (level\/discipline\/years): 03-05 years in a Key Account Management or Sales role, preferably within the manufacturing \/ steel \/ construction industry
\n\tIndustry: Steel manufacturing, building materials, or construction industry<\/p>\n
