\tMacsteel is offering a 12-month structured Internal Audit Internship within the Internal Audit Department. This role provides practical exposure to internal audit methodologies, operational control reviews, and audit engagements across the business. The successful candidate will support the Internal Audit team with audit execution and administrative activities while gaining valuable hands-on industry experience.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nRequired Qualifications \/ Experience<\/p>\n
\tDegree in Bachelor of Commerce in Internal Auditing
\n\tStrong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel
\n\tGood analytical and problem-solving skills
\n\tAbility to plan, organise, and manage multiple tasks
\n\tStrong attention to detail
\n\tGood time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
\n\tWillingness to learn and an interest in internal audit and risk management
\n\tWillingness to travel as required<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nJob Specification<\/p>\n
\tAssist with operational and internal control reviews across various business processes
\n\tSupport the planning and execution of internal audit engagements
\n\tPerform audit testing under supervision and document audit evidence
\n\tPrepare and maintain audit working papers and supporting schedules
\n\tAssist with basic data analysis and reporting for audit purposes
\n\tUpdate and maintain audit trackers, follow-up logs, and documentation
\n\tProvide administrative support to the Internal Audit Department as required<\/p>\n
