\tOrganize workflow by assigning responsibilities.
\n\tOversee and coach employees.
\n\tEnsure the safe use of equipment & schedule regular maintenance of equipment.
\n\tCheck production output according to specifications.
\n\tFacilitate Performance Management.
\n\tComplete production plan daily.
\n\tEnsure project-based duties are delivered on time.
\n\tMaintain quality requirements on processes\/products.
\n\tMaintain safe and clean work environment.
\n\tMaintain the parts inventory & continuously check accurate parts are used in the department.
\n\tContinuous checking and updating of documentations for the respective department.
\n\tEnsure all meetings are attended by everyone in your department, Attend production meeting daily.
\n\tEnsure that departmental reports are done on time Work with Quality to ensure standards are adhered to.
\n\tAssist employees with their ESS on a continuous basis.
\n\tManage departmental communication and updates.
\n\tMeasure and analysis of manufactured structures.
\n\tReview and approve product designs and changes for manufacturing.
\n\tLiaise with clients on technical issues and specifications.
\n\tParticipate in continuous improvement of processes through promoting Kaizen and QC Circle.
\n\tReduce waste (MUDA) (process time), use of consumable items and energy consumption.
\n\tManage time and attendance of staff members \u2013 plan absentee cover.
\n\tEnsure equipment is within calibration date and all systems are functioning correctly.
\n\tConduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department.
\n\tEnsure that non-conforming materials is clearly identified and segregated.
\n\tPerform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
\n\tSign off completion in protocol book.<\/p>\n

Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tElectrical Engineering Degree.
\n\tGrade: 12 Matric Certificate.<\/p>\n
Skills:<\/p>\n
\tProblem Solving Skills.
\n\tProject Management Skills.
\n\tReliable, performance oriented and self-motivated.
\n\tWork independently though being a team player.
\n\tAble to read and interpret drawings.
\n\tFocus on quality and output performance.
\n\tProficient in Microsoft Office.
\n\tProducts Measure and analysis of manufactured structures.
\n\tComputer Literate.
\n\tMeasurement and analysis of manufactured structures.
\n\tMust be a self-starter and be able to work with little supervision.
\n\tEncourage Team work.
\n\tCode EB drivers license.<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\tExperience in a similar role in the automotive industry – 5 years.
\n\tExperience with some problem-solving tools (any of: 8-discipline; PDCA; DMAIC etc.) – 1 year.
\n\tWorking knowledge of Quality Management Systems – 1 year.<\/p>\n
