Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tQualified Red Seal Electrician\u00a0
\n\tFamiliarity with management principles and job card systems.
\n\tAbility to manage a team of 30 employees across multiple departments simultaneously.
\n\tStrong analytical skills with proven problem-solving ability.
\n\tExcellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
\n\tA team player with strong leadership and people management skills.
\n\tProficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license and own transport.
\n\tGrade 12 (Matric).
\n\tMechanical background would be advantageous.
\n\tExperience within the poultry industry will be highly beneficial.
\n\tMinimum of 5 years\u2019 managerial experience.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for all Plumbing, Ground Maintenance, Vehicle Checks, Minor Electrical Fault Finding, Routine Inspections, and general facilities upkeep.
\n\tOversee and coordinate electrical maintenance and troubleshooting in line with Red Seal Electrician competency, ensuring compliance with electrical safety regulations.
\n\tPlan, delegate, and coordinate service-related procedures and systems; develop and implement ways to streamline processes on farm.
\n\tAssess staff performance, provide coaching, training, and guidance to maximize productivity.
\n\tEnsure smooth and efficient flow of information within the company to facilitate effective operations.
\n\tManage schedules, deadlines, and workflow across multiple departments.
\n\tMonitor inventory, plan and coordinate purchasing of materials\/supplies\/parts, while keeping within budget constraints.
\n\tTrack and control departmental costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation.
\n\tEnsure all preparation and washing duties are carried out to the highest standard.
\n\tEnforce and monitor strict compliance with bio-security standards and procedures.
\n\tConduct weekly reviews of all job cards\/inspections and ensure proper follow-up on outstanding items.
\n\tEnsure compliance with Health & Safety regulations
\n\tPrepare and submit weekly and monthly reports for the Farm Manager\/Operations Manager.
\n\tManage HR\/IR-related matters such as leave planning, time sheets, and disciplinary processes.
\n\tCandidate must be willing to work flexible hours, standby and weekends as per operational requirements.<\/p>\n
