Job Purpose:<\/p>\n
\tThe technician (field support) will be responsible for the off-site support function through the testing, diagnosis and repair of notebooks, PC’s, Notebooks & Printers.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Technician Service<\/p>\n
\tDiagnose and repair all technical faults of Notebooks, PC’s & Printers
\n\tFollow the correct test process for all brands.
\n\tEnsuring that all communication with our customers is of the expected quality
\n\tCompleting all assigned tasks within the required time frame (SLA)
\n\tEnhancing customer experience and relationships
\n\tKeep the CMDB system up to date at all times.<\/p>\n
Customer Service<\/p>\n
\tHelp maintain the rework rate for the department below 2% (rework report) within a 30day period between barcodes
\n\tMaintain service levels at 90% (SLA Report)
\n\tComplete at least additional 5 workshop repairs per week depending on the field work schedule.<\/p>\n
Stock<\/p>\n
\tManage Stock Rand value and have a 0% shrinkage basis and have no stock outstanding for more than 14 calendar days<\/p>\n
General<\/p>\n
\tAd hoc tasks as required<\/p>\n
Qualification and Experience:<\/p>\n
\tMatric
\n\tCompTIA A+, N+ and S+ preferred
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license
\n\tMin of 3-year technical experience in notebooks, PC repairs & Printers<\/p>\n
Skills and Knowledge:<\/p>\n
\tGood knowledge of general administrative and internal processes
\n\tKnowledge of ICT industry
\n\tKnowledge of operating system software (i.e., Windows 10).
\n\tKnowledge of relevant technologies hardware
\n\tBasic computer literacy especially in Microsoft applications skills
\n\tProblem solving skills (analytical)
\n\tGood communication skills (verbal and written)
\n\tTechnical skills and problem analysis<\/p>\n
