Main Purpose of the Role:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tThe lecturer will be required to teach various subjects within\u00a0the Vendor Programme: Computer Programming and Web Development at the Klerksdorp Campus.
\n\tThe lecturer must be able to design and deliver lectures, lead discussions, and conduct practical sessions to assist students in grasping concepts and enhance their academic learning experience.
\n\tThe role includes but is not limited to lecturing, marking, feedback, student evaluation, and academic support.\u00a0 The lecturer will also have responsibility for academic material and assessment, taking in some modules as a module lead.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tTeaching and Instruction
\n\tDeliver lectures, workshops, and tutorials.
\n\tDesign and update course content, curriculum, and instructional materials.
\n\tEmploy a range of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.
\n\tIncorporate technology and digital tools to enhance learning.
\n\tAssessment and Evaluation
\n\tBasic academic administration
\n\tDesign and administer assessments (e.g., exams, assignments, presentations).
\n\tEvaluate student work and provide constructive feedback to aid in their academic development.
\n\tMonitor student progress and maintain accurate academic records.<\/p>\n

\tProvide academic advice and guidance to students, helping them set and achieve learning goals.

\tContribute to the planning, review, and improvement of academic programmes and courses.

\tEngage in continuous professional development to improve teaching effectiveness.
