\tEcowize is looking for an experienced and certified Pest Control & Hygiene Technician to join our Pest Control and Hygiene division in Limpopo.
\n\tThe purpose of this role is to determine the best treatment regarding pest control and ensure the highest quality of service is delivered to the customer.\u00a0
\n\tThe Pest Control Technician must ensure that all services are planned and completed in line with the customer agreements signed. Be accountable and responsible for equipment and consumables used to complete the services.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Summary of responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tYou will be responsible for inspecting buildings and the surrounding property for signs of insects, rodents and other pests.
\n\tThen determine which treatment is best and use the proper baits or traps to remove them.
\n\tSpray chemical solutions, powders, and gases on or near surfaces of a building or house to eliminate pests.
\n\tIdentify invading pests, including rats, termites, snakes, wasps, ants, spiders, mosquitos, or bed bugs.
\n\tSet mechanical traps and place bait. Remove dead rodents after extermination.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12
\n\tValid Driver’s licence
\n\tP-Registration with Department of Agriculture.
\n\tPest Control Operator experience essential.
\n\tAble to work flexible hours and overtime.
\n\tMust have a valid driver\u2019s license and be willing to travel.
\n\tThe successful incumbent must have the following skillsets:
\n\tGood understanding and knowledge of the Pest Control Industry and service orientated.
\n\tLogical thinker as well as strategic and organized.
\n\tAbility to solve problems efficiently and to be pro-active in identifying potential problems.
\n\tAttention to detail.
\n\tCustomer-centric.\u00a0<\/p>\n
