\nQualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
\tMatric \/ Grade 12
\n\t60 FAIS Credits
\n\tInsurance qualification preferable
\n\tRE5
\n\t10 years\u2019 experience in short-term insurance environment, specifically motor
\n\tComputer literacy (MS Word, Outlook and Excel)
\n\tIntensive knowledge of claims and salvage environment
\n\tRelevant motor industry experience (salvage, towing, assessor, salvage yard management, SAPS, ICB)
\n\tBasic mechanical \/ vehicle knowledge
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license<\/p>\n
Duties & Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nSalvage Upliftment and Assessment<\/p>\n
\tLoad upliftment vehicle on salvage dealer portal.
\n\tArrange and monitor collection of salvage vehicles.
\n\tLiaise with towing operators and negotiate fees.
\n\tEnsure timely upliftment to reduce storage costs.
\n\tEnsure that vehicle is assessed by Motor assessor within the agreed SLA.
\n\tValidate CODING of vehicle.
\n\tStock in vehicle once deemed a write off.
\n\tTrack and update salvage status on systems.<\/p>\n
Documentation & Compliance<\/p>\n
\tBook collection of Natis documents from client \/ broker.
\n\tRequest settlement letter from INSTRACK for finance vehicles.
\n\tRequest Natis document on INSTRACK for financed vehicles.
\n\tComplete required salvage documentation process and system updates.
\n\tHandle title holder documentation and deregistration processes.
\n\tUpdate salvage register.<\/p>\n
Auction Sales Management<\/p>\n
\tManage SIB TAT.
\n\tIdentify missing or damaged parts before auction.
\n\tEnsure branding removed before auction and manage complaints, client removal of items.
\n\tApply reserves on CODE 2 vehicle upon inspection for enhanced returns.
\n\tPrepare salvage vehicles for auction.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Financial Control<\/p>\n
\tManage salvage dealer credit control as per SLA.
\n\tCapture salvage money on claims system.
\n\tAllocate salvage money to floats.
\n\tTrack outstanding payments.
\n\tApprove and pay release fees.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Stolen and Recovered Vehicle<\/p>\n
\tEnsure vehicle circulated on UNICODE.
\n\tEnsure all recovered vehicle documentation is accurate and complete.
\n\tConfirm police clearance documentation before processing.
\n\tVerify deregistration status where applicable.
\n\tUpdate internal claims and salvage systems accurately.
\n\tCoordinate vehicle collection from SAPS pounds.
\n\tLiaison during all hours with SAPS and building relationships across the industry with ICB and other stakeholders.<\/p>\n
