Minimum Qualifications and experience:<\/p>\n
\tB-degree in Commerce\/ Law, Corporate Governance\/ Risk Management and Compliance or equivalent.
\n\tEthics Officer Certification Program (EOCP) Accredited.
\n\tExperience in Ethics and compliance in the financial services industry
\n\tOver 5 years relevant experience<\/p>\n
Duties:<\/p>\n
\tProvide input into the revision of ethics related policies to align with codes of ethics and\/or conduct within the PIC.
\n\tAssist the Head: Ethics Office in the implementation of ethics related policies, with particular attention to the record-keeping, analysis and evaluation of policies related to Gifts and entertainment, Conflicts of interest and due diligence, Extra-remunerative work, Code of
\n\tEthics, Anti-bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy and Whistleblower Policy.
\n\tDesign and implement ongoing learning and awareness programs on the Code of Ethics and
\n\tEthics Related Policies to effect behavioral change within the PIC.
\n\tEnsure ethical decision making is embedded in key processes.
\n\tProvide guidance and advice to employees, management and the board on ethics-related issues.
\n\tEnsure implementation and monitoring of consequence management of ethics related cases.
\n\tImplement the ethics communication strategy with the assistance of the communications team.
\n\tProvide advisory and safe reporting (\u2018speak \u2013 up\u2019 or whistle blowing) facilities.
\n\tCoordinate and implement ethics opportunity and risk assessments (ERAs).
\n\tIdentify and report on unethical behavior and corrupt activities.
\n\tAssist the wider PIC In driving an ethical culture through collaboration with HR, Risk and other inter-related departments.
\n\tConduct ethics assessments on reported unethical conduct.
\n\tContribute to defining scope of investigations and identify ethical breaches post conclusion of investigations.<\/p>\n
Ethics and Reputational Risk Assessments<\/p>\n
\tConduct Ethics and Reputational Risk Assessments in relation to Investment Transactions.
\n\tPresent the assessment outcomes at various governance forums.<\/p>\n
Monitoring and reporting:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure monitoring adherence to ethical standards and compliance with regulations and guidelines.
\n\tEnsure development and maintenance of confidential procedures and systems required for effective handling of allegations related to ethics.
\n\tEnsure prompt investigations pursuant to complaints and allegations of ethical misconduct.
\n\tProvide regular reports and updates as instructed by the Head: Ethics Office.
\n\tCompile Ethics related reports for submission to PIC Committees<\/p>\n
