Description:<\/p>\n
\tPerform physical cycle stock counts and verify to system stock on hand. Reconcile and investigate cause for discrepancies and capture variances identified. Identify and report on damaged stock, incorrect pricing, SKU\u2019s.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum Grade 12 and 1 (one) year work related experience or 2 (two) years related experience
\n\tAbility to communicate in English and the dominant language spoken in the geographical area where the position is available
\n\tMust be literate
\n\tMust have strong numeric skills
\n\tMust be accurate and able to work under pressure
\n\tMust have basic computer skills
\n\tMust be willing to work shifts, weekends and Public Holidays.<\/p>\n
Key Performance Area:\ufeff\ufeff<\/p>\n
Perpetual Inventory Counts<\/p>\n
\tCount stock daily according to the PIC Count Cycle.
\n\tInvestigate all variances whether positive or negative and report the results to the Store Manager.
\n\tInvestigate and rectify negative stock quantities daily, after receiving approval from the Store Manager
\n\tIdentify and report on damaged stock to the Store Manager.
\n\tConduct Mini Stock-takes as and when instructed to do so by Management
\n\tAssist with Wall-to-Wall Stock-take preparations and report any areas of concern
\n\tNormal PIC counts to be done during full Stock-take<\/p>\n
Reporting<\/p>\n
\tReport variances for the day to the Store Manager and or Divisional Manager as required by the Cashbuild Way
\n\tReport all irregularities to Store Management and or Divisional Manager as required by the Cashbuild Way
\n\tReport irregularities to DM if no action is taken by the Store Manager.
\n\tReport on incorrect and poor quality pricing, SKU\u2019s and damaged stock
\n\tReport on poor merchandising on racking and bulk area
\n\tReport on bulk stock area if special attention is required”<\/p>\n
PIC Adjustments<\/p>\n
\tEnsure all adjustments are actioned, verified for accuracy and signed off by Management.
\n\tEnsure the \u201cEnd of Day Report\u201d, is validated to yesterday\u2019s PIC Adjustment Sheet, and filed.
\n\tReport on any adjustments not done on the day of the count cycle prior to end of trading day.<\/p>\n
Filing and Administration<\/p>\n
\tEnsure all PIC documents are completed, signed off by you, approved by the Store Manager and filed daily.<\/p>\n
Ready for Business<\/p>\n
\tAdhere to Ready for Business and Beyond my Control as per the CB Way<\/p>\n
Customer Service<\/p>\n
\tAdhere to the Cashbuild Dress code at all times,
\n\tName badge to be displayed and visible to the Customer
\n\tImmediately assist with Customer complaints<\/p>\n
Safety (OHSA) Requirements<\/p>\n
\tSafety (OHSA) compliance (e.g. ensure Customer and staff safety) within area of responsibility
\n\tReport any discrepancies to the Store Manager
\n\tEnsure correct safety equipment and clothing used.<\/p>\n
