Job Purpose:<\/p>\n
\tThis pivotal role ensures the efficient storage and distribution of our final product, maintaining a reputation for excellence and reliability.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tOversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of final product (bags).
\n\tManage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and optimizing space.
\n\tImplement and maintain high standards of warehouse cleanliness and organization.
\n\tLead, train, and develop warehouse staff to meet productivity and efficiency targets.
\n\tCoordinate with other department to ensure smooth operation across the company.<\/p>\n
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s) including:<\/p>\n
\tInventory accuracy rate.
\n\tOrder fulfilment time.
\n\tCost per unit shipped.
\n\tEmployee productivity rates.
\n\tSafety incident frequency.
\n\tUtilize KPI results to lead continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse operations.
\n\tOversee the use and maintenance of warehouse management systems to ensure they are utilized to their full potential.
\n\tAddress and resolve any customer-related issues regarding product quality or logistics.
\n\tManage the budget for warehouse operations, including staffing, supplies, and logistics, ensuring expenditures stay within financial targets.
\n\tArrange efficient transport logistics to ensure timely delivery of order, optimizing routes and liaising with transportation providers.
\n\tMonitor delivery processes, resolving any issues that arise during transit to maintain service reliability and customer satisfaction.
\n\tOversee quality control throughout the warehouse operations to ensure that all products stored and shipped meet the required standards and specifications.
\n\tDevelop procedures for handling damaged goods and returns to maintain quality and customer satisfaction.
\n\tAct as a critical link in production planning by providing timely insights into warehouse stock levels and order fulfilment demands by collaborating with production to schedule production based on current orders and forecasted needs.
\n\tMaintain minimum stock levels to ensure continuous operations while avoiding excess inventory.
\n\tPro-actively manage slow-moving or aging stock by coordinating rework strategies to optimize warehouse space and reduce financial losses.<\/p>\n
Skills and Experience Required:<\/p>\n
\tDegree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
\n\tMinimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
\n\tProficiency in warehouse management systems and database software.
\n\tStrong understanding of inventory management practices and supply chain operations.
\n\tExcellent organizational and leadership skills.<\/p>\n
