Job Description<\/p>\n
\tPurpose: \u00a0To assist customers by helping them choose a product that is best suitable for whatever need the customer has, in such a manner that the assistance of the Sales Person is appreciated by the customer when he\/she purchases any product. This will include the ability to provide good customer service in such a manner that customer satisfaction is achieved, resulting in generating sales and promoting the business therefore creating sustainable growth in margins and profits.<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
\tAttend to customers in a professional and helpful manner
\n\tGenerate more sales, ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service
\n\tControl stock levels and doing regular stock counts
\n\tAdvise customers with regards to products, which product would be best in order to solve the customers\u2019 problem
\n\tPlace stock orders with buyers if necessary
\n\tAttend to relevant admin tasks including up keep of customer book, special orders file and forwarding of invoices as well as other relevant tasks
\n\tEnsure merchandising is done properly and that the products are priced correctly
\n\tParticipate in perpetual stock takes
\n\tEnsure good housekeeping of work area
\n\tPerform any work-related tasks as delegated by superior<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
\tMatric or x3 Completed Intercept courses equating to total of 120 credits
\n\t3 Years Sales experience in Electrical
\n\t3 Years minimum experience in a similar role in a Hardware environment
\n\tBrights Induction (Service excellence)
\n\t5 basic technical supplier competency certificates
\n\tIntermediate level merchandising standards
\n\tIn-house return per square meter standards
\n\tCustomer Service Training
\n\tDemonstrate acceptable sales technique
\n\tIntermediate product knowledge
\n\tAbility to communicate effectively (verbal &written)<\/p>\n
