\tAn opportunity has become available at our Head Office (Cape Town) within Old Khaki for a Allocator specifically in the Accessories and Footwear Department with additional planning responsibilities.
\n\tOur ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, logical reasoning and numerical abilities. The successful candidate will have the ability to align with the company vision, be self-motivated and actively involved in the planning process in the applicable area of responsibility. In addition, the successful candidate should have the high energy levels, resilience and confidence required for this fast-paced, exciting, and dynamic retail environment.<\/p>\n
Key Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tImplement the Allocation strategy according to store turnover and profile
\n\tEnsure allocations are done effectively based on trade and store performance
\n\tAnalytical support and feedback to influence the Planning and Buying teams
\n\tStore and merchandise-related (style and sizing) analysis
\n\tReporting and recommendations regarding store performance \u2013 this role plays a crucial link between stores and the merchandise team
\n\tReplenishment management
\n\tMonitoring product performance to take appropriate action
\n\tRegular store visits where appropriate
\n\tContribute to achieving Turnover, GP & Stock budgets and other KPI\u2019s
\n\tPost Seasonal analysis, Strategic Planning, Range & Assortment Planning
\n\tBudgeting and forecasting to maximize sales and profitability
\n\tStock control and distribution whereby you ensure that the product assortments, volumes, and store & product attributes are maximized.
\n\tLiaising effectively with stores, suppliers, customers, shipping, and marketing<\/p>\n
Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications Required<\/p>\n
\t1-2 years experience as a Allocator\/ Store Planner within a retail environment
\n\tMatric & Graduate qualification in a related field
\n\tMicrosoft Office proficiency with advanced Excel
\n\tReporting systems
\n\tProficiency in Enterprise Planning would be beneficial
\n\tA high degree of numeracy and a detailed and strategic approach to work<\/p>\n
