Apache &amp; Grandstream \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Renewals Sales Support"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION:<\/p>\n<p>\tThe main purpose of the \u00a0Brand Manager encompasses a wide range of responsibilities of the product\u2019s life cycle, and you will oversee a products, or part of it, from ideation to distribution.<\/p>\n<p>Brand Manager Job Duties and Responsibilities.<\/p>\n<p>Business Strategy Development and Execution<\/p>\n<p>\tTraining on vendor processes and systems<br \/>\n\tInvolving partners in vendor training and events<br \/>\n\tEnsure operational excellence of the vendor within the partner.<br \/>\n\tOrders are placed on the vendor timeously.<br \/>\n\tQuotes are fast and accurate.<br \/>\n\tCredits are passed by the vendor and to the reseller\/partner.<br \/>\n\tETA and delivery information<br \/>\n\tEscalation of partner operational issues at vendor and focus on resolution.<br \/>\n\tUnderstand the development strategy for the vendor and implement it in the SBM sector.<br \/>\n\tIncrease customer coverage \/ count for vendors and Partners.<br \/>\n\tIncrease vendor product coverage.<br \/>\n\tIncrease geographic coverage.<br \/>\n\tDefine and document a development plan with each partner and focus on the execution<br \/>\n\tReview the plan every quarter.<br \/>\n\tTraining and up-skilling of partners and First Distribution<br \/>\n\tDevelopment partner to grow sales and presales resources of the partner.<br \/>\n\tTraining on vendor sales tools<\/p>\n<p>Vendor &amp; Partner Relationship Management<\/p>\n<p>\tTechnical, Presales<br \/>\n\tSales Management, Marketing, Working with the partner to drive marketing initiatives on behalf of the vendor, these initiatives may include.<br \/>\n\tMarketing events<br \/>\n\tTele-campaigns<br \/>\n\tInternal incentives<br \/>\n\tPromotion of vendor events<br \/>\n\tDriving vendor GTM\u2019s with the partner<br \/>\n\tManaging the vendor sales process<br \/>\n\tDiscount Management<br \/>\n\tLobbying support for partner at the vendor<br \/>\n\tMargin management (ensuring the integrity of channel pricing)<br \/>\n\tVendor sales funnel management &amp; reporting funnel to vendor<br \/>\n\tEnlisting vendor support to drive the opportunity to closure<br \/>\n\tVendor relationship management<br \/>\n\tMaking sure that relationships are maintained with key vendor contacts who are required to be successful in quarterly reviews for the partner.<br \/>\n\tSolution focus for each partner<br \/>\n\tVendors focus on each product.<\/p>\n<p>Product Lifecycle Management<\/p>\n<p>\tTake ultimate responsibility for the revenue target allocated to the partner.<br \/>\n\tDrive FD\u2019s product focus within each respective partner<br \/>\n\tBe the custodian of the vendor relationship at the partner.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that vendors\u2019 products are top of mind with all key stakeholders within the partner.<br \/>\n\tAnalyze market segments and develop marketing strategies to build product demand by creating effective solutions and awareness of the product and brand<br \/>\n\tProvide marketing plans and GTM plans for the sales team<br \/>\n\tLiaise with vendors and the industry to understand product and market trends and amend plans accordingly to ensure efficient product life cycle management and maximize opportunities<br \/>\n\tClearly communicate product, market strategy, objectives and technical<br \/>\n\tStrategic account management plan for all channel partners to be presented once a quarter as part of your quarterly review<br \/>\n\tMonitor inventory (inventory turns, stock aging, stock days, obsolesces, stock-outs) for the stock to meet all key performance indicators<br \/>\n\tNegotiate targets, rebates, co-op marketing funds, stock rotation, pricing, and supply<br \/>\n\tManage orders and warranty returns<br \/>\n\tEnsure that customer-related queries are effectively dealt with and solved<br \/>\n\tAssist the team with other related functions when and where required<br \/>\n\tSubmit Weekly \/ Monthly\/quarterly reports as required by management, vendors, and partners<\/p>\n<p>Internal training associated with competencies:<\/p>\n<p>\tDuring the first week of your employment, you&#8217;ll be presented with a meticulously crafted learning map designed to seamlessly guide you through your on-the-job training experience.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<p>\tGrade 12<br \/>\n\tTertiary Qualifications would be advantageous.<br \/>\n\t3 Years of Accounts Management \/ Product management experience in Networking<br \/>\n\t3 years of IT Distribution experience<br \/>\n\tExcellent knowledge of MS Office suite is essential.<br \/>\n\tExcellent understanding of Networking optics and Optical products<\/p>\n<p>Skills and Abilities<\/p>\n<p>\tStrong Self Motivational and Empowerment skills.<br \/>\n\tStrong Communication Skills.<br \/>\n\tStrong Relationship and Self-Management Skills.<br \/>\n\tTakes Initiative.<br \/>\n\tWorks well with all kinds of people.<br \/>\n\tRemains calm under pressure.<br \/>\n\tProven account management or other relevant experience<br \/>\n\tDemonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.<br \/>\n\tExcellent time management skills<\/p>\n<p>go to method of application \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( http:\/\/www.firstdistribution.co.za ) or<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"First Distribution","_company_website":"http:\/\/www.firstdistribution.co.za","_company_tagline":"First Distribution is a value-added distributor of leading global brands, providing complex ICT solutions to the Enterprise and SME markets.
