Role Purpose<\/p>\n
\tWe are seeking a hands-on, execution-driven Financial Operational Accountant who goes beyond reporting to actively drive financial performance across branches.
\n\tThis role is accountable for turning financial insights into action \u2014 identifying issues, investigating root causes, and ensuring that corrective actions are implemented and deliver measurable results. The successful candidate will work closely with branch teams to improve performance, strengthen controls, and support achievement of operational targets.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Drive Action from Financial Insights<\/p>\n
\tAnalyze financial reports to identify variances, shortfalls, and inconsistencies
\n\tTranslate insights into clear, actionable plans
\n\tTake ownership of issues through to resolution<\/p>\n
Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving<\/p>\n
\tInvestigate financial and operational variances at branch level
\n\tIdentify underlying drivers (process, people, or system-related)
\n\tImplement and monitor corrective actions<\/p>\n
Branch Performance Support<\/p>\n
\tConduct regular branch visits and performance reviews
\n\tPartner with branch management to improve financial outcomes
\n\tProvide practical financial guidance to non-financial stakeholders<\/p>\n
Accountability & Follow-Through<\/p>\n
\tTrack and manage actions arising from reports and reviews
\n\tEnsure timely resolution of issues and closure of gaps
\n\tEscalate risks and drive accountability where required<\/p>\n
Operational & Process Improvement<\/p>\n
\tIdentify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls
\n\tDrive implementation of sustainable operational improvements<\/p>\n

Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field<\/p>\n
3\u20135 years\u2019 experience in:<\/p>\n
\tOperational finance \/ management accounting \/ finance business partnering<\/p>\n
Proven track record of:<\/p>\n
\tDriving performance improvement initiatives
\n\tWorking with cross-functional, non-financial teams
\n\tResolving financial or operational issues end-to-end
\n\tStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
\n\tAdvanced Excel and financial systems proficiency
\n\tWillingness to travel to branches as required<\/p>\n
