The Senior Conveyancing Secretary – to support the real estate team in the preparation of conveyancing and related documents<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 certificate
\n\tA recognized secretarial certificate \/ diploma
\n\tA minimum of 8-10 years suitable experience
\n\tMust have Investec bonds experience<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas:<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for running files from inception to closure\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tDeals with commercial mortgage bond instructions, with a thorough knowledge and understanding of conveyancing processes as well as of standard security documentation utilised by South African banks
\n\tKnowledge and understanding of notarial bonds
\n\tLiaises and interacts with banks, consultants and transacting parties who demand result-driven perfect service
\n\tDeals with mortgage bond cancellation instructions, prepares consents to cancel and checks guarantees
\n\tResponsible for opening and closing files on file management system
\n\tEnsures compliance with FICA
\n\tEnsures effective diary management and meeting co-ordination<\/p>\n
Skills, Knowledge and Attributes:<\/p>\n
\tTyping skills with a good speed and accuracy level
\n\tGood command of the English language both verbal and written
\n\tExcellent knowledge of MS Office, Lexis Convey and e4
\n\tExcellent organisational skills with attention to detail
\n\tEffective interpersonal and relationship building skills
\n\tGood telephone etiquette
\n\tAdaptable, professional and displays a positive attitude
\n\tConscientious and pro-active
\n\tAbility to work overtime when required to do so
\n\tAbility to meet deadlines and work under pressure
\n\tThe ability to deal with all aspects of transfers will be an added advantage, as will experience in dealing with notarial servitudes and title deed conditions<\/p>\n
