We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised IT Asset & Inventory Controller to manage and maintain our IT equipment and asset inventory. The successful candidate will ensure accurate tracking of all IT assets, support stock control processes, and assist in maintaining efficient asset lifecycle management across the organisation.<\/p>\n
Essential Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tManage and maintain accurate records of all IT assets and inventory
\n\tTrack the movement, allocation, and return of IT equipment
\n\tConduct regular asset audits and reconciliations
\n\tEnsure proper tagging and documentation of all IT equipment
\n\tMonitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment where required
\n\tSupport onboarding and offboarding processes with equipment allocation
\n\tLiaise with vendors and internal teams for asset procurement and returns
\n\tMaintain compliance with company asset management policies
\n\tIdentify discrepancies and resolve inventory issues promptly<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 \/ Matric (required)
\n\tDiploma or Certificate in IT Asset Management, Inventory Management, or related field (advantageous)
\n\tExperience in IT asset management, inventory control, or stock administration, including use of accounting systems (Sage Pastel preferred)
\n\tExperience supporting audits and compliance processes (advantageous)
\n\tBasic understanding of IT hardware and software
\n\tStrong proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management systems
\n\tClear and professional verbal and written communication skills
\n\tAbility to work independently and within a team
\n\tHigh level of integrity in handling company assets
\n\tStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills
\n\tAbility to manage multiple priorities effectively<\/p>\n
