We are currently looking for a Payloader Operator (Front-End Loader Operator) \u00a0to safely and efficiently operate a payloader (front-end loader) to load, move, and transport materials such as sand, gravel, coal, or raw materials within the site, ensuring productivity targets are met while maintaining safety and equipment standards.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 10 \/ Matric (preferred)
\n\tValid Payloader \/ Front-End Loader Operator Certificate (accredited training)
\n\tValid medical certificate of fitness (for mining\/construction environments)
\n\tMinimum 2\u20133 years\u2019 experience operating a payloader
\n\tValid driver\u2019s licence (advantageous)
\n\tStrong understanding of machine controls and safe operating procedures
\n\tKnowledge of material handling and site logistics
\n\tBasic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
\n\tAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines
\n\tGood communication and teamwork skills
\n\tAwareness of health and safety regulations (e.g., OHSA \/ Mine Health & Safety Act)<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tOperate the payloader to load and transport materials to designated areas (e.g., trucks, stockpiles, hoppers).
\n\tConduct daily pre-start and post-operation inspections of the machine.
\n\tEnsure safe loading practices to prevent spillage, overloading, or damage.
\n\tMaintain optimal productivity while adhering to safety standards.
\n\tReport mechanical faults, damages, or unsafe conditions immediately.
\n\tPerform minor maintenance and basic housekeeping of the equipment.
\n\tFollow site-specific safety procedures, including PPE compliance.
\n\tWork closely with supervisors and team members to meet operational targets.
\n\tKeep accurate records\/logs of machine usage, fuel consumption, and loads moved.
